The cabin seemed a bit cramped with the addition of a bear, tiger, and human. Thankfully Julius has large tents that can be set up to accommodate the extra bodies. I couldn’t be happier than Ryan was home and safe. His mate, Rhonda was an absolute doll. They sat together in the living room; Ryan in the large recliner with her sitting in his lap. They spoke in whispers, she stroked his cheek while she gazed into his eyes. It was romantic.
“How come he didn’t know about mates?” Dante asked in his deep baritone voice.
“Julius was focused more on training and protecting the town, ” I said. “He told the older three but Ryan and Luke had no idea. Ryan was afraid to say anything because he thought he had almost exposed us.”
