Charlotte’s POV
Lady Addison had given us a pretty simple task: to draw our favourite part about being in the palace. At least, when she had first said it seemed simple enough. Still, as I sat in front of the blank canvas 15 minutes after we had been given the task instructions, I couldn’t help but think that I had been too quick to judge the complexity of the challenge.
Thinking back, there were lots of things I found enjoyable about being in the palace, such as the constant availability of food, the impressive architecture, and most of all, Cyn. She was the closest thing I had ever had to a girl-friend, and I realised that I would be a lot more miserable here without her. She was definitely one of my favourite things about being here.
