WHO IS TO BLAME

Part 3

"You mean you know him very well?" Asked Esther

"Not just me but everyone around here knows him very well" said the little girl.

"Mercy get me a pen and my note book in my monkey bag" said Esther and mercy came quickly with it. Some of the people around had started to depart while some still looked at her. Esther wrote her number on the piece of paper and also added that he should call her.

"Please can you give this to him when he comes?" Asked Esther

"I will give it to him. Dont worry" said the little girl and took the piece of paper from Esther. Esther went home and asked her friends not to talk about the incident to anyone at home. She waited in vain for Rashid's call but dint receive it. She dint lose hope and thought he would call the next day.

Rashid on the other hand received the piece of paper from the little girl who happened to be his little sister and only family he had. Rashid was almost done with preparing supper. They lived in a small simple house. Their parents died when princess was two years old. They died in a ship wreck. Since then, Rashid had to stop school and look after his little sister.
