Culver walked to the elevator, reached out his hand to press on the button. Then, the elevator door opened slowly.
Chloe followed Culver into the elevator, and the door closed back swiftly.
"Culver, why are your employees still working so late in the hour?" Chloe noticed the employees were bustling about in the lobby as she entered the building.
Culver smiled and rubbed her head, "Well, it's nearing the month's end so they have a deadline to close the company's accounts, which is why they are still working now."
Chloe lifted her head, looked at Culver, and asked with a smile, "Culver, if I lost my job one day, do leave an opening for me in your company, okay?"
