Chapter 7 Missing

486 Words
JONATHAN’S POV “What just happened?” I ask. “I have no idea, first our food goes missing and then our cups blow up,” Jason says. “Mary, do you have anything to say?” Justin asks. “Well, I will not squeal on the food going missing, but it’s no mystery. As for the cups, that was weird,” Mary says and busies herself with clean up. “So, Jennifer took our food, good. She needs it more than we do. I’m glad she got has appetite back. Did you feel a change in her today? Maybe we should go talk to her,” Jason says. “I agree, she seems different and I don’t like the way she just left like that,” I tells them. We all get up and head to her bedroom. Jason knocks, but there’s no answer. “Jennifer, it’s us, please answer, we just want to check on you,” Jason says. He knocks again, but still, there’s no answer. We look at each other. “Jonathan, we feel her wolf, but she won’t let us talk with her. It’s like she is purposely blocking us. I have tried and so have Dax and Dustin. We feel like there is some reason they are hiding the fact she knows she has a wolf. We think there is something important happening we don’t know about. Also, we feel she was possibly held hostage and that’s the reason she didn’t have her wolf. Those are the vibes we’re getting from her wolf. In other words, she may be in very great danger.” Demetri my wolf tells me. “Guys, have your wolves told you about their suspicions?” I ask them. Demetri seems to think she is more important than we could possible imagine,” I tell them They both nod, that their wloves have explained their concerns. Jason turns toward the door and opens it. The room is empty. She’s gone, and the window is open. “Worriers and Royal Pack members, Your Future Queen is missing, has anyone seen her,” Justin mind links. “Yes, Kings, she climbed out the window and headed into the north woods,” Matthew states. “Why didn’t you tell us,” I yell through the link. Matthew starts stammering through the link. We call for everyone in the woods to be on the lookout and not to be seen if they’re in their wolf form. If anyone sees her, they are to report to us immediately. Anyone not in the woods should start looking for her in human form, not wolf form. This is definitely a hinderance, because we could find her faster in wolf form because our senses are heightened in our wolf form. We all turned toward the door as it was opens. “Why are all three of you in my bedroom,” Jennifer asks us.
