Battle of passion

“He murdered my first mate in cold blood, and now he has destroyed the Sunset Pack. Harley here is my half-sister". He glanced at her. This was only the beginning of a long journey. Harley brought along a lot of obstacles with her. Lincoln was more than ready to hold her hand through it all. "The moon goddess told me in a dream a few days ago that I would be reunited with my half-sister soon”, Lincoln paused to let the pack take in all that he had said. Harley was as shocked as everyone. She refused to burst into tears again. She bore the stinging pain of tears in her eyes. “Alpha Red requested Harley’s return in exchange for peace. That was, of course, an offer I declined. On Friday at 7 am, we will meet the Red Claws Pack for battle at Blue Hill," he said. "This is unexpected, but I have a feeling that no blood will be shed." Everyone got dismissed to ready themselves. Harley stood behind Lincoln, lost in thought. What has just happened here? - BLUE HILL- Blue Hill was no conventional hill. Blue Hill was a flat-surfaced grass field. It has little to no trees, let alone species. Wind blew about as it pleased with not a single tree to its aid. In the far distance, solitary mountains were visible. Some were rugged and pyramid-shaped, and others were bold and flat. “You have the nerve, you know, for someone who can’t protect the one he loved”, said Alpha Red. Lincoln knew better than to entertain Red's self-absorbed monologue. The two alphas gave each other death glares. Red growled maniacally as he eyed his opponent. Like a wolf with no conscience, he'd stop at nothing to get what he desired. He's a wolf known for his aggressive nature. - WINDCREST PACK HOUSE - “Will Lincoln be alright?”, asked Harley. She spoke without making any eye contact. Everyone looked up at her and had warm smiles on their face. Kassidy let out a dramatic sigh before confidently replying to Harley. “Look Harley, your brother may seem a bit immature, but he’s a fighter. Trust me, don’t be fooled by his size. He's got the brains. If there’s anybody who wouldn’t stand a chance in that fight, it’s Red." Harley shrugged at Kassidy and gave her no more attention. She remained calm and not bothered by what might happen. From time to time, her thoughts would drift to Lincoln, wondering why he chose to fight for her. She shrugged off the unpleasant feeling building inside of her by getting something to snack on. Impatiently she waited for Lincoln’s return, no matter how much she was comforted. An all too familiar somesthesia washed over her - BLUE HILL - “This is necessary alpha Red”, said Lincoln. “I'll get to decide that young boy”, said Red, "Just hand over that curse of a girl, and I'll spare you." Lincoln's once-alluring ocean eyes switched between black and blue. He drew in long breaths to maintain his composure before Red. “She's not a curse, she's destined for great things, and I'll be there to see them through”. With that said, Lincoln lunged onto Alpha Red. He caught him off guard and did not spare any blows. He was ripping a piece of his flesh with his canines. Alpha Red viciously grazed Lincoln’s face to distract him. That was all it took for Alpha Red to be in the dominating position and began to pound mercilessly at Lincoln. Not that Lincoln gave him the opportunity. Lincoln deflected all of Red’s blows and aimed an excruciating punch at his abdomen. At this time, they both managed to get on their feet. Both alphas had harsh, ragged breathing, with wrath in their eyes. Fists clenched and canines gritted, letting out low growls. Alpha Red took this opportunity to lunge at Lincoln and grasp his neck with both hands. They both landed on the ground once more. He strangled Lincoln for what seemed like an eternity. Lincoln gasped for air and occasionally attempted to strike Red. After a while of tackling Red, Lincoln regained dominance and gave his opponent no chance to breathe. He pinned down Red and positioned behind him, firmly placed his arm around his neck and strangled the life out of him. Red let out brief ragged gasps and attempted to get on his feet. However, Lincoln ensured that he had no chance to escape his grip. He didn’t flinch until he was certain that Red was unconscious. Lightning struck, and the clouds gathered, stealing away the warmth and light of the sun. Distant growls and frightened howls could be heard. An icy cold windswept by momentarily, bringing dried leaves and dust. Lincoln felt a shiver running down his spine, as a white light drew nearer from behind him. He reluctantly stood up, not wanting to look back yet. He looked up to face his pack members, who seemed to be kneeling. All their heads bowed down and kneeling on all fours. He could not reach Kyle telepathically and failed to recognize him from the pack. Behind him was a feminine figure silhouetted by a bright white and yellowish light. She moved closer and her flawless and luscious skin became more visible. Her glossy lips and clear hazel eyes stood out from her face. She wore a long and flared black dress. Her crown is shaped like a crescent moon alongside a golden sceptre with the same ornamentation. Waist-length sepia dreadlocks resided elegantly below her crown. Lincoln bowed instantly when he caught a glimpse of her. “Goddess, I re-remember.” His fingers trembled on the ground with his claws out, uncontrollably digging into the soil. A loud thud startles Lincoln, causing his heartbeat to race. Slowly, he raised his head to follow the direction of the sudden sound. His eyes landed on an unconscious Harley. His eyes widened as he hurriedly paced over to her still body. “Harley, Harley wake up!!!”, he shook her body vigorously until she slightly opened her eyes. Breathing out a sigh of relief, he helped her up to a sitting position. Her body slouched towards Lincoln’s chest and her arms were limp. She blinked multiple times and took in long gasps of air before she could talk, “How, how did I get here?” she asked in a raspy whisper. That is what she had been sensing all day. Lincoln stared at her in silence while holding her between his arms and wondered how she had gotten there. “Children pay attention”, the goddess spoke in a feminine yet authoritative tone. She advanced towards the pair and firmly placed her hands on their heads. Her scepter floated beside her whilst illuminating an angelic light. Every living thing around them froze and time seemed to stop. Lincoln and Harley were immersed in a trance-like state. ‘In front of them were scenes of bloody battles between vampires, Lycans and werewolves, along with other supernatural races. Soon after that, another scene featuring Harley and a member of the Windcrest pack journeying into an unfamiliar land in pursuit of the powerful wendigo that insinuated unruly behaviour in the Red Claws pack. They see the weak link in the pack, the traitor. Marcus. Towards the end of their trance, they saw a man and a pregnant woman. Terror was written all over them, dark eyebags were visible on their faces. They both looked to be in their forties. Pale men surrounded them as if guarding them, in a large room that was finely furnished and had barricaded windows. The man had his arms wrapped around the woman tightly.'
