Basement

1003 Words
I tried to find the way but got lost while searching for clues. Avoiding the CCTV took away half of my energy. By the time my subordinates came along with special force, 1 hour already passed. I anxiously let my subordinates follow me and we all went towards the basement, which I found at the last moment. I couldn't open the door without equipment, else I would I already saved Bella, who was trapped by that beast. Uncle, who came a little later said that the security system of the mansion has been hacked by him, so there will be no problems. After opening the door of the basement noiselessly, my people followed me into the basement and each and everyone was alert. There were many traps, if we are not careful enough, we will be killed. So we took each step cautiously, not willing to alert Aidan, who was inside the special room with a special lock. We surrounded the room and waited for the right moment to enter. The basement was too silent, silent enough to notice each other's breathing. Just as we were about to try unlocking the door, we heard Aidan speak to Bella. ********** I sat upright on the left side and stared out of the car. Though I couldn't see much from the closed window, I still enjoyed watching the people outside been busy with their work. I kept the things of my all handbag in my pocket and secret places of my body so that even if I was searched, they wouldn't be able to find anything, except for my purse and pen in the pocket. I knew that he was following me. I also knew that he was changing vehicles so that the people around Aidan could not find anything suspicious if in case they checked the CCTV footage of the road the car drove. When I felt that the road to reach the destination was too long, the driver pressed a button and all of a sudden I was trapped by the seatbelt. Both my hands were unable to move, they were forced to be kept under the seatbelt. I acted as though I was struggling and tried to shout. But before I could do so, a kerchief covered my nose along with my mouth and I fainted. I slid down a little due to sleepiness, but I forcefully activated my senses and so I could hear and feel even the smallest detail inside and outside of the car. After traveling for a long time, I heard a gate open and the car drove inside. The car stopped after going inside and the car door beside me opened. A large hand dragged me from inside I felt myself being carried by Aidan. While I was being carried horizontally by Aidan, I started to recollect the information given by James, when I first inquired about Aidan and his state of mind. His family was quite a mess. His mother, who was robbed of her innocence by his dad. He has a his twin brother, who was more like a human being than him. He, who was a lot like his dad, was hated by both his mother and father. The reason his mother hated him is that he reminded him of his father. Whereas, the reason his father hated him was that his character was soft, even though he looked a lot like his father. His father didn't want to see a face similar to him, to be too innocent, and hated him till now. Although he lived alone in a secluded place, at the very least he lived peacefully without knowing about worldly affairs. If only his twin didn’t die, he wouldn’t have been dragged to live as a substitute, nor would he have to learn to be psycho from his father. Forced to be a psycho by his father, made him carelessly leave traces, every time he did the murder. This was what the first report about Aidan was about, but the later report made me think that being a psycho has become a trend. It seems that anyone can become psycho anywhere in this world…… Just as I was thinking about Aidan’s life, we reached an isolated room in a basement. According to the information I gained from James, I knew that he didn’t maintain his basement well, but I didn’t know it was worse. The moment he opened the door of the room in the basement, there was a bad smell, the smell of blood which was not cleaned for many months. I felt like vomiting. I have been with psychos, who were as clean as an OCD patient, but this person didn’t even bother about the bad smell and placed me on a chair and tied my hands and legs to the arms and legs of the chair using a rope. I didn’t bother to get up. I was 100% sure that the police would have already got enough evidence against Aidan and his dad, and would have started taking action. I heard the sound of a stretcher being dragged. He loosened the rope tied to my hands and legs and then tried to wake me up. His cold palm touched my cheek. I felt him staring at me for a very long time. “I know you are awake.”, he said as a matter of fact. I acted as though I was scared to wake up and my eyelids trembled slightly, to show that I was awake. Do I have to act till the end ah? Let’s end this soon, I feel so bored with this childish game….. My eyelids trembled like butterfly wings, as I gently opened my eyes. Aidan’s eyes were staring straight at me, his eyes without emotions were frightening. If it were someone else, I was sure that they would have shouted until their voice became hoarse enough, to be unrecognizable. I trembled under his watchful crazy eyes, at least acted like so....
