TWO WEEKS LATER
To say the last two weeks have been a nightmare is an understatement. But, there comes a time when someone reaches their limits, and Kara has surpassed hers. She’s on the verge of breaking. I’m surprised she hasn’t tried to escape.
“Why didn’t anyone tell me about the altercation between Kara and Sierra that first night?” I ask Cameron.
No one said a word, not even Sierra. It wasn’t until I dropped in tonight at the restaurant and witnessed Sierra intentionally tripping Kara and making her fall on her face that I had concerns. Sierra knew what she did was wrong, especially when I walked in, and I could see the regret on her face. If Kara had her wolf strength, the fight would’ve been ugly.
