Chapter Thirty-Eight
The four heavily armed and camouflaged men climb the rock steps up to a flat plateau area above in the bush. In the distance is Jacqueline’s home. They drop their back packs beside the rocks and quickly unpack ammunition magazines, hunting knives and several hand grenades each, then cover their packs with branches and scatter snow across their tracks. Ickeman puts gray face paint on, then loads his high powered rifle. The other three men study a map and prepare their weapons.
