Kai turns to glare at him and I can feel the tension crackling between them like electricity. "I wasn't asking for your opinion, Zane. She's coming to my pack where we can protect her properly and get her settled. Then we'll contact Damon and let him know what's going on. My pack has the resources and the security."
"I'm not letting you take my mate to your pack!" Zane snarls back, his voice dropping to something dangerous.
