Kai's POV
We walk into the banquet hall and the place is massive, decorated like something out of a royal palace. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling, casting warm light over everything. The tables are covered in white silk cloths with gold trim, expensive china plates and crystal glasses at every seat. There are ice sculptures in the corners, elaborate flower arrangements on every surface, and a string quartet playing soft classical music in the background.
The room is already filling up with guests, alphas from different packs wearing expensive suits and their mates in designer dresses. Everyone looks polished and perfect, dripping with wealth and power. The air is thick with competing alpha auras, everyone trying to assert their dominance without actually starting a fight.
