Raven's POV
I know I'm in pain but something else is suffocating me, like I can't breathe well. Like the whole world is weighing down on my chest, crushing my lungs, making it impossible to get air. It's too dark to see anything clearly, just shadows and blurry shapes that don't make sense.
I kick my legs and groan, grabbing at the sheets for support, trying to fight against whatever is happening to me. My hands claw at my throat, desperate for oxygen that won't come.
It stops suddenly and I gasp, sucking in air that burns my lungs. My vision is so blurry I can barely make out the figure standing over me, but I can tell it's a lady. She's wearing what looks like a maid's uniform, her blonde hair pulled back in a tight bun.
"Stupid b***h," she hisses at me, her voice filled with venom.
