Lukas was very angry! He dialed Eira's number directly. Inside the restaurant, Eira had repeatedly declined Mr. Carr's advances politely, but he wouldn't give up, attempting to touch her hand several times. Just then, her phone suddenly rang, giving her a chance to catch her breath. "Sorry, Mr. Carr, I need to take this call," Eira said, standing up and walking towards the restaurant's exit. Mr. Carr narrowed his small eyes, staring at Eira's departing figure. "Hey, Lukas, what's up?" Eira stood outside the restaurant's door. "I'm right across from you." Eira suddenly looked up and saw Lukas staring icily at her from the opposite side. She furrowed her brows in confusion, wondering how he ended up here. "Are you following me?" Eira walked over, her face frosty and cold. She had just run into Lukas downstairs, and now she saw him at the door. This was stalking! How could Lukas do something so despicable? Lukas chuckled a bit. "I don't have time to follow you around. I just happened to pass by." Glancing at the fat man inside the restaurant, he asked, "Who's he? Is he more important than Miley?" Skipping the hospital to meet a fat man. How could she? Eira was annoyed by Lukas's questioning tone but explained. "He's a business partner. We are discussing business." "Discussing business? He seems more interested in touching you. Are you discussing business or flirting?" Lukas questioned. Eira's face darkened with disgust. "Lukas, what do you mean? Do you suspect me? I work hard every day to earn more money for Miley's treatment. And you, delivering pizzas every day, have any progress? Did you apologize to my parents yet? You're just a coward!" Eira's emotions were clearly stirred. Tears welled up in her eyes as she turned away, sniffing. "Forget it, talking to you is pointless. I'm not going home tonight." Not going home? Lukas was puzzled. 'Is she planning to stay out overnight? With this fat guy?' "What if I can help you?" Lukas asked. Seeing Eira like this, he guessed the business deal wasn't going well; likely, the other party was threatening her. He also felt guilty for his earlier attitude. "What can you do? Can you bring me a million-dollar order?" Eira smiled icily. She never expected Lukas to be of any help. "Isn't it just a one million dollar order? I can..." Lukas said, as he was now not lacking in money. With just a word from him, Eira's company could be bought, let alone a one million dollar order—that would be a piece of cake. "Enough, Lukas. You don't need to interfere in my affairs," Eira said icily, then turned and went back into the restaurant. 'You don't need me to interfere? At least you're my wife,' Lukas sighed, watching Eira's back and then took out his phone. Lukas calmly called Dougie. "Dougie, check out any recent projects Eira's VitalPharm has partnered with, any million-dollar orders. Find out what the company is and who's in charge!" On the phone, Dougie's respectful voice came through. "Young Master, VitalPharm is a family-invested enterprise. I've arranged for Mr. Ward from VitalPharm to visit you." 'Oh? VitalPharm is actually a family-invested enterprise. Impressive, Dad!' Lukas suddenly regretted not inheriting the family business earlier. "No need. Just quickly check and ensure they don't trouble Eira," Lukas replied calmly. "Young Master, I suggest you consider buying their company outright. Money isn't an issue for you," Dougie suggested. "Do you understand the concept of keeping a low profile? If I wanted to buy, would I wait until now?" Lukas snapped irritably. Seriously! Buy it? Was Dougie really talking like this now? "Understood, Young Master. Give me ten minutes," Dougie replied sheepishly. He instructed his secretary to notify Bobby, the chairman of VitalPharm. Bobby, upon receiving the call from Dougie's secretary, was instantly excited. "Dougie, what can I do for you?" This was Eldoria's wealthiest man! The chairman of Summit Enterprises! Many people hoped to have a meal with him. "Mr. Ward, it's not me seeking you out, it's my young master," Dougie said over the phone, his tone calm yet unquestionably authoritative. Dougie was Eldoria's wealthiest man. He could remain humble in front of the young master. But when dealing with others, he was all mighty and high. "Y-Young Master?" Bobby, seated in the chairman's office at VitalPharm Tower, froze, sweating profusely. Dougie's young master! There was a young master above Eldoria's wealthiest man? "What does the young master want with me?" Bobby asked cautiously, afraid to accidentally provoke Dougie. "Who has Eira been dealing with lately among your company's clients?" Dougie inquired from his end. Bobby knew Eira, the deputy general manager of the marketing department, a strong woman whom he had admired for a long time. She was married, but that didn't matter; married women brought more fun. Immediately, Bobby broke into a sweat and hurried to the marketing department. When Bobby was seen by the entire VitalPharm marketing department, everyone fell silent. "Where's Mrs. Kaur?" Bobby asked. "Mrs. Kaur went out for business negotiations," a staff member replied. "With whom?" Bobby inquired further. "Mr. Olly Carr from EnerPharm," the staff member replied. Bobby immediately picked up the phone and respectfully reported. "Dougie, it's Olly from EnerPharm." "Noted," Dougie said curtly before hanging up. Next, Dougie exerted his influence and issued a warning directly to EnerPharm. Having served as steward for so many years, Dougie naturally understood the young master's intentions. Olly from EnerPharm seemed to have offended the young master. Six minutes later, Lukas, who had returned to the hospital, received a call from Dougie. "Young Master, it's done." "Hmm, don't tell Eira about this. Also, make sure everyone else keeps quiet. I don't want to hear any rumors," Lukas instructed. "Understood, Young Master. Low profile," Dougie chuckled. Hanging up, Lukas glanced at the hospital building before smiling bitterly. 'Eira, oh Eira, you always say I can't help you. Now, I'll tell you, helping you is just a matter of a word. If you ever find out it was me who helped you, what expression would you have?' His gaze returned to the Hilton's sixth-floor restaurant. Olly was quite tipsy at the moment, and his hands and feet were starting to get restless. "Mrs. Kaur, are you disrespecting me by just eating vegetables and not drinking?" Olly's face was stern, his tone threatening. Eira hurriedly explained with a smile. "Mr. Carr, you've misunderstood. I haven't been feeling well these past few days, so I can't drink." This fat guy had been handsy with her all along, really annoying. "Hmph! Mrs. Kaur, since you put it that way, we have nothing more to discuss." Olly snorted icily, threatening. "Mrs. Kaur, you should know it's not only your family that wants to cooperate with us, but many people are also begging to meet with me." With that said, Eira raised her eyebrows hesitantly, looking at the red wine on the table. "Alright then, I'll have a drink with you." With this, Eira picked up the wine bottle and poured herself a glass. Olly looked at this woman, smiling slyly. Under the lamplight, she was truly charming, sexy, and tempting. Eira downed her glass in one go. "Mr. Carr, can we leave it at this? Look, our cooperation..." "Mrs. Kaur, there's no rush with this. Why don't we continue upstairs and talk more leisurely?" Olly finally revealed his intentions for tonight. As soon as the words were spoken, Olly's hand couldn't help but touch Eira's leg, and he even wanted to go further! Smack! Eira stood up straight, angrily slapping him. "Mr. Carr, please stop!" "You b***h, how dare you hit me?" Olly glared angrily, standing up furiously, and was about to slap her across the face.
