Chapter 4

Daniel's pnt of view

I can't explain how happy I was when I saw Madison in her dress. The night out with her was like a dream

come true for me. Until she saw and talked with Leo, she didn't say anything but I could tell something was 

wrong because she was shaking and looked terrified like she had just seen a ghost. During the drive I tried 

to distract her but she just played it off like there was nothing. After a while she just stopped talking for 

the rest of the  ride. When we got to my condo  she opened the door  and got out of the car. She just walked to the entrance not looking back to know if am still here. I figured she was just not ready to talk about 

whatever the problem is, so I let her go in to rest.I was surprised when I woke up the next morning and she 

was not in my condo, so I called her but she didn't answer and now I was worried, scared something had 

happened to her. I then realized that I could call Addison to check if she is home, which I did. Addison 

answers the call we say our hello then I ask her if Madison is home with her, she says she hasn't seen

her this morning but she will check her room to make sure. After a few minutes she says Madison is 

still sleeping I guess she's tired. I agree with her and say thank you, can you have her call when she 

wakes up. She replies with a yes I will leave a note by her bed before I leave for work.  

It's been five days and I still haven't heard from Madison, I have called and text her but she has not 

answered my text or called me back.. Not sure what's going on her and not wanting my imagination 

to get the best of me  I decide to go see her at her apartment. When I got there I saw Peter's pickup truck

parked in the visitors spot along with Sanchez and Adriana. Now scared something was definitely wrong 

with Madison I parked my car and races to her apartment. Knock and wait to be answered,  after the door

is opened and am invited in  am surprised when I see Madison ballooned up on the couch with Addison 

robbing her back without I thinking I raced to her side as I asked Adriana or anyone that would answer 

me what's going on with her. Addison looks at me with concern and worry as she said she remembers 

that night but not being found by you. Confused I look around to everyone there then I say isn't it what 

we wanted am sure she will remember the rest soon. Adriana looks at me and says she saw the face of 

the man that put her in the hospital and he works for Colons's conglomerate Inc. Shock, anger and remorse

fill me immediately didn't realize when I started pacing the room then asked who he is. Addison walks to 

me as she says Sanchez is handling it don't worry, I look at her and say I understand how this work but I 

still want to know who it is. She looks scared in this moment like my reaction scares her, so I say to her 

you don't have to worry about me I won't do anything crazy. She gives me a half smile that I return, then  

 she says his name is Leo Mar, I cut her short as I Marshal .....Leo Marshal the director of Colons's 

software Inc. I look at Peter, Adriana, Sanchez then back to Addison then sit next to Madison as I realize 

how everything that happened over the late few days from the balloon night makes sense now. She 

remembered him the night of the balloon and was scared. Then I ask why didn't she just tell me this that 

night, Addison replies saying she only saw flashes it was later that  night she had the dream again and saw 

his face.
