Chapter 3: The Patient

Yi's heart was racing as he walked into the hospital room. He had never been one to get nervous, but there was something about this job that had him on edge. Maybe it was the fact that he was going to be working with a high-profile patient, or maybe it was the fact that he had no idea what he is to expect.

As he entered the room, Yi was struck by the sheer size of it. The room was easily three times the size of his own apartment, and it was filled with all sorts of medical equipment. Yi's eyes landed on the figure lying in the bed, and he felt a pang of sympathy.

Li Ming was even more handsome than Yi had expected. His chiseled features and piercing eyes seemed to leap off the page, even in his current state. Yi couldn't help but wonder what had happened to him, what had led to this devastating accident.

Yi's gaze was broken by the sound of a voice behind him. "Ah, Mr. Yi, welcome. I'm Dr. Lee, Li Ming's primary physician."

Yi turned to face the doctor, a middle-aged man with a kind face and a warm smile. "Thank you, Doctor," Yi replied, shaking the doctor's hand.

Dr. Lee nodded, his eyes serious. "I'm sure you're aware of the sensitivity of this case, Mr. Yi. Li Ming is a high-profile patient, and his family is...particular."

Yi nodded, his mind racing. He had dealt with difficult patients before, but this was on a whole different level. "I understand, Doctor," he said. "I'll do everything in my power to ensure Li Ming's safety and well-being."

Dr. Lee smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I have no doubt that you will, Mr. Yi. You come highly recommended."

Yi felt a surge of pride at the doctor's words. He had always taken pride in his work, and it was nice to know that others recognized his dedication.

As Yi began his shift, he couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. He had no idea what the next few weeks would bring, but he was determined to do everything in his power to help Li Ming recover.

"What's going on?" Yi asked, his mind racing.

Dr. Lee hesitated, his eyes serious. "Li Ming's family is getting anxious. They want to know when he's going to wake up."

Yi nodded, his mind racing. He had expected this, but it still caught him off guard. "I'll do everything I can to help him recover, Doctor," he said.

Dr. Lee nodded, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I know you will, Mr. Yi. Just be careful, okay? Li Ming's family is not to be trifled with."

Yi nodded, his heart racing. He had no idea what he was getting himself into, but he was determined to see it through.

As Yi returned to Li Ming's room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He had a feeling that he was in over his head, but he was determined to do everything in his power to help Li Ming recover.
