Titanium, the War Lord of the King of the Dark Underworld, just left my quarters. He was flanked by 2 monstrosities that I wish never to see again. I could hardly get a sentence out upon their appearance in my quarters. I laid out my plans to the War Lord who told me that his men will accompany my men during the round up. "We leave before first light!"he barks at while his black demon dogs are staring at me without blinking their eyes. Before I could answer they disappear into thin air.
I sag with relief back into my chair but the next minute I feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I slowly swivel my chair around to be met by very handsome god. The air around him crackles with light giving a charismatic appearance to his approachable features. He asks me about the plans for the round up in Kader. I'm so surprised by his question, but before I can ask him where heard about the round up, something in his eyes compels me to bare all my carefully thought out plans to round up the 18year olds of Kaden.
I blink my eyes and when I open them, the glowing man was gone. Now I am really frightened and is considering contacting Titanium to tell him about the glowing man, to whom I spilled all the details of the operation! I don't even know how to contact Titanium if I want to contact him! I think of all the pros and cons of telling Titanium what I just did. I come to the hasty conclusion that he never needs to find out! I'm sure if he finds out that will be the end of me.
My beautiful Kelly is so excited about the Vicario. She has been groomed her whole life for tomorrow. All the potential Vickry has been tought what to do and what to expect when entering the realm of the Immortals. I almost want to pull her name from the Vicario ceremony but it will create too many problems for our family! I grip the handles of the chair I am sitting on in an attempt to calm my nerves. I take in a slow breath to steady my heart and breathe.
Then there is the gigantic beast that made its way into the human realm. I know that the beast is not a normal beast. I don't know what prompted it to cross the barriers between our worlds. It is against the treaty for them to enter our world without invitation. The immortals are allowed into our realm for the Vicario and to make preparations for the bidding process of the Vickry. If one of them is caught without an invitation the law states that we can hand down our own justice. I don't even know what that means as our history books has no detail of an immortal ever crossing the boundaries without an invitation.
We almost caught the beast but somehow it evaded our grip and escaped into the forrest! We had a council meeting afterwards trying to make head and tails of who the wolf is and why it was here. Although we pondered over the issue for hours. Not one of our questions got answered and we are not any closer than getting an answer!
I think it best to reconsider my strategy for tomorrow. The only detail I change is to attend the house of William, the chief of the Kader village first, as my men reported that he did not give up the name of his 18 year old daughter Rosaly. I can't afford any mistakes or not rounding up, all the 18 year olds of Kader!I am exhausted as I make my way to bed. I set my alarm to get up in an hours time.
I barely closed my eyes when the alarm went off. I jump out of bed and ready myself for the task ahead. As I walk out my door I am met by Titanium, his blood hound dogs and his men. All armed , dressed in black clothes and looking very scary even for my standards. One of Titanium's men touch my arm I am zapped into the town square of Kader where I am met by my men, the Elite. I give a speech and direct my men what is needed from them. As I am giving the Elite directions, I notice that Titanium has a green ribbon in his hand. He let his demon blood hounds smell the ribbon. He gives them a command in a language I'm not familiar with and they gave chase to the scent of the owner of the ribbon.
