The Wedding Vows and the Unexpected Home

"Now, let's start the marriage vows, Mr. Registrar, come on!" The RT head (Neighborhood Association Head) invited the registrar to sit in front of Sandi. "Is this really a marriage? Oh my god, what did I dream of to end up marrying a widow?" Sandi grumbled, looking thoroughly confused. "I don't know what sin I committed to be forced to marry someone as insignificant as you!" Larissa retorted with an annoyed face. Even though she was a widow, the woman's face and figure still looked like a girl's. Therefore, many people sometimes didn't believe that the beautiful woman was a widow. The marriage registrar led the vows directly, which Sandi had no choice but to follow. "I accept the marriage of Larissa Maharani, daughter of the late Lutfiansyah, with a cash dowry of three hundred thousand rupiah, paid in cash!" Sandi said nervously. "Thank God. Now you are legally husband and wife. Hopefully, after this, no one will commit any more indecent acts in that empty house," said the registrar, which made Sandi and Larissa want to scream and deny that they weren't the culprits. The Ride Home After being married, the registrar and the RT head allowed Sandi and Larissa to leave. They returned to the empty house because the rain had stopped. Sandi went to retrieve his motorbike that was left there. Meanwhile, Larissa was confused about how to get home, as her cellphone was dead, and the streets were deserted because it was almost midnight. "Why are you so quiet? Do you want to stay here?" Sandi said as he started his motorbike. "It's fine to stay overnight," Larissa replied a little curtly. "So, what are you doing here?" Sandi stared at the woman who was now legally his wife. "I wanted to go home, but my car was still at the repair shop. This was all because my personal driver was sick, so I had to drive home alone, and my car suddenly broke down. Plus, my phone battery was low, so I couldn't order an online taxi," Larissa explained. "Oh, so using the excuse of a sick personal driver and a broken-down car. Just say you're waiting for public transport." Sandi laughed mockingly. "Why don't you believe me? I really just came home from work!" Larissa glared angrily at the young man who was now officially her husband. She never thought she would marry again, especially to a man she didn't know at all. "Come on, stop daydreaming. You better get on now!" Sandy patted the seat of his motorbike. "Where are you going?" Larissa frowned. "Home, of course. We're married now. I am your husband, Auntie," replied Sandi, making Larissa immediately stare sharply at him. "You can't call me Auntie!" the woman retorted irritably. "You are older than me, so it's natural to call you Auntie," Sandy's cheeky remark made Larissa even more furious. "You're really rude, aren't you!" Larissa clenched her fists. "Just kidding! Hurry up and get up! Usually, the residents of this house come out after midnight," Sandy said in a deliberately creepy voice. Larissa suddenly felt goosebumps. The woman looked right and left; the empty house did look scary. Reluctantly, she got on Sandi's motorbike and sat behind him. "Do you want to come to my rented house or what?" Sandi asked after starting his motorbike. "You rented a house? Where are you from anyway?" Larissa was surprised. "I'm originally from far away; I just came here to study. Oh, I ended up getting a widow." Slap! Larissa immediately slapped the man's strong back. "Just go home!" she replied briefly. "Which alley?" Sandi asked again. "In the Mutiara cluster," Larissa answered, making Sandi pause for a moment. "Are you sure it's not the wrong cluster?" the man asked again, still unsure. "Don't be so condescending to people, drive quickly!" Larissa told Sandi her home address, which made Sandi drive his motorbike in that direction. The Luxury House How amazed he was! Sure enough, Larissa took him to a cluster. In fact, the woman asked him to drive the motorbike right up to the gate of a luxury house. "This is my house. Now you believe me, right?" Larissa got off the man's motorbike. "Y-yeah, then I'll go straight home." Sandi was about to start his motorbike again, but Larissa suddenly pulled the sleeve of his shirt. "Going home? So, what do we do? We're married, right?" "Geez, this is giving me a headache." Larissa massaged her own forehead. "Oh yeah, we're married, right? Um... if that's the case, then I have to be in this house too." Sandi also looked confused. "Yes, come in!" Larissa invited him and walked ahead. The woman was immediately greeted by two women who worked in the luxury house. Sandi followed Larissa's steps, taking in the luxurious house. It felt like a dream; suddenly, he had married a rich widow. "Good evening, Ma'am. How may we help you?" asked a woman, bowing her head in respect. "Are the children asleep?" she asked as she continued walking, about to climb the stairs. "Young Master Zephyr and Young Mistress Zyva are asleep, Ma'am." "Okay, I'll go get some rest. Oh yeah, he's my husband!" Larissa pointed at Sandi, who had been following her. All the servants who heard this were immediately stunned. However, none of them dared to ask any questions. This was because after approximately two years of being abandoned by her late husband, Larissa had never brought another man into the house. Yes, Larissa is a widow with two children. She married young to a successful businessman who was ten years older than her. Larissa gave birth to her first child when she was twenty-one, and three years later, she gave birth to a daughter. Three years after that, her husband passed away, making Larissa a young widow. However, she had no difficulty at all. Since her husband passed away, Larissa had replaced him in managing the company, assisted by her sister-in-law. Larissa continued her steps towards her room, which was located on the second floor. Sandi continued to follow the woman because he didn't know where else to go. In fact, even when Larissa entered her room, Sandi still followed her. "This is my room. Um... do you want to sleep here?" asked Larissa as she turned around and immediately faced him. Sandi still looked confused. Larissa looked at the face of the man who had now become her husband. The man looked handsome and attractive, but his slightly long hairstyle made Larissa uncomfortable. "Sorry, Auntie, I'm not ready for our first night," Sandi blurted out, his face suddenly looking nervous, even more so when he noticed Larissa's intense gaze.
