"Sorry, Aunt, I'm not ready for the first night," said a man on his wedding night.

"What did you say? Aunt? I'm not even thirty yet. Besides, I'm not interested in playing with you."

Larissa Maharani is a young and beautiful widow. The twenty-nine-year-old woman has two children from her first marriage to a successful businessman. However, the man passed away first, leaving Larissa and their two children behind. Known as Miss Larissa, this wealthy young widow has not considered remarrying, perhaps because, if given another opportunity for love, Larissa would prefer to meet a man older than her, similar to her first husband, who was ten years her senior.

Yet, who could have imagined that an event would lead to her marriage with a young man who is only twenty-two years old? He is Sandiya Gautama, a final-year university student...

The Perpetrator of the Act Nasty
Heavy rain pouring down on the capital forced a young man in a university jacket to stop his automatic motorbike near an empty house. "Damn, it's raining so much. Can't it just fall one by one, queue up like that, instead of ganging up on me?" The young man's name was Sandya Gautama, a final-semester student from Garut. Sandi had moved to Jakarta to attend university. The tall and sturdy young man parked his motorbike and immediately took shelter at the empty house. Not a single light was on in the house. Everything was dark, illuminated only by the dim streetlights. "It's really cold. Luckily, I brought a change of clothes," he muttered, opening the motorbike's storage box. He took out a T-shirt he had worn the night before at his friend's place. Without looking left or right, the handsome young man immediately took off his alma mater jacket and the T-shirt he was wearing. At the very same moment, a woman ran in a hurry and sought shelter in the empty house. The woman appeared from the left, unaware that someone was already there. "Oh, my clothes are wet again." Larissa took off the office blazer she was wearing. She intended to wring it out for a while so it wouldn't be too soaked. "Same here. My clothes are wet too," someone replied, startling Larissa. She looked to the right; faintly, she saw a man standing not far from her. "Oh my gosh, is this a person or not?" Larissa suddenly felt goosebumps, rubbing her shoulders. She knew it was an empty house, so all she could think about were negative thoughts. "If it's not a Genderuwo, it must be some strange creature," the woman muttered, feeling increasingly scared. She wanted to turn on her phone's flashlight, but the sophisticated device was already low on battery. "It's okay, I'm human." Sandi pointed his phone's flashlight at Larissa. "Who are you? Don't mess around!" Larissa slowly backed away, shocked to see Sandi shirtless. "Relax, Miss. I just need you to hold my phone. I'm going to put on some clothes first." The young man handed his phone to Larissa because he was about to put on a shirt. "You'd better stay away from me!" Larissa, still frightened, slowly backed away. However, suddenly, there was a flash of lightning accompanied by a very loud thunderclap. CRACK! (or BANG!) "Kyaaaaa...." Larissa screamed in fear. She approached Sandi and reflexively hugged the young man's body. She closed her eyes with her body trembling; Larissa was truly afraid—she could even say she had a phobia of lightning. Not long after, a beam of light from a flashlight got closer to them. "There are people doing something dirty here! It's them!" said a man, directing his flashlight at the empty house. "Wow, it turns out what the residents said was true: at night, people often commit lewd acts in this empty house. In that case, let's raid them!" another man chimed in. "Agreed!" Four men wearing coats approached the empty house. They noticed Larissa hugging Sandi's bare chest. "How dare you do something obscene here!" The sound made Larissa immediately let go of her embrace. Meanwhile, Sandi immediately turned towards the men who had now gathered around them. "Sorry, sirs, you misunderstood! We didn't do anything," Larissa denied. "We saw you hugging here. You were doing something dirty, and the proof is that he wasn't wearing any clothes, and neither are you!" The middle-aged man looked at Sandi's shirtless body and Larissa's, who was only wearing an undershirt. "But we don't know each other, sir. Besides, I didn't hug him; he was the one who suddenly hugged me. I don't know who he is either," Larissa denied again, leaving Sandi stunned. Even though it was the woman who hugged him, why did Larissa accuse him? "Is that so?" asked another middle-aged man with a surprised face. "Really, sir. He suddenly hugged me earlier. I was scared because I don't know him." Larissa pointed lightly at Sandi. "Wow, don't tell me you kidnapped this lady?!" a middle-aged man accused Sandi. Sandi was increasingly stunned; why was he being cornered like that? He turned to Larissa, and an idea crossed his mind. "Gentlemen, he's lying, sir. Actually, we're a couple; he's my boyfriend. He was just sulking earlier, that's why he didn't admit it," Sandi said, making Larissa immediately glare at him. "What did you say? That's not fine!" Larissa snapped, not accepting it. "Enough, honey. Don't sulk anymore." Bravely, Sandi put his arm around Larissa's waist in front of the men. "Wow, this isn't right. It would be better if we take them to the neighborhood head's house now so they can get married tonight. It turns out these two people are the ones the residents say are together almost every night in this empty house," said a resident, which made Sandi and Larissa immediately look at each other. What kind of slander is this? "Okay, just take them, sirs!" Two men forcibly pulled Sandi and Larissa to follow them. "Sir, I really don't know him, sir. We're not dating!" Larissa still tried to avoid it even though the men continued to force her to follow them. They were taken to the house of the RT head (Neighborhood Association Head) of that place. The local residents immediately gathered; some even called the village head. "Thank God, the perpetrator of tonight's indecent act has been caught. Thank you to the gentlemen who were on guard even though it was raining heavily earlier," said the RT head in front of Sandy and Larissa, who were forced to sit at his house. "They accused us of committing lewd acts," Sandi muttered, rubbing his face roughly. "Sir, this is all a misunderstanding," Larissa continued to try to deny and defend herself. "Okay, you'd better take out your ID cards now!" the neighborhood head ordered, seemingly unwilling to be disturbed. Sandi and Larissa had to take out their ID cards and show them to the RT leader as well. "Name: Sandiya Gautama, twenty-two years old, unmarried, a student." Larissa immediately turned to Sandy; she was quite surprised when she heard the man's biodata. "And this one, name is Larissa Maharani, age twenty-nine years, status divorced and dead—" "Huh?" Sandi was even more stunned when he heard Larissa's biodata. He immediately turned to the woman beside him, and the two people exchanged glances. "Because you have committed indecent acts and disturbed the residents, we have agreed to marry you tonight," the RT head decided, making Sandi and Larissa almost scream in surprise. "Now, write down the names of each of your parents, and for you, mention and show the dowry that you will give to your future wife," the RT head joked again. "Sir, but we really don't know each other, do we?" Larissa glared at Sandy to confirm her statement. "That's right, sir. Actually, we don't know each other," Sandi added. "I know this is just a trick of yours. Now, do you choose to get married or be reported to the police for adultery?" The RT head looked alternately at Sandi and Larissa. "Get married now, sir!" Sandi answered without thinking. He was too afraid of the RT head's threats. Meanwhile, Larissa was utterly stunned when she heard the man's decision. "Okay, what dowry will you give?" Sandi was silent for a moment; the man seemed to be thinking. "Ummm... what should I do? I only have three hundred thousand left, sir. My friend is going to pay off his debt tomorrow. What should I do?" he asked confusedly while taking three notes from his wallet. "Only three hundred thousand? There's nothing left?" Larissa asked, giving him a strange look. "There's two thousand left, want some?" Sandi offered innocently. "Okay, the important thing is that there's a dowry. Who will be the guardian for you, Miss?" The marriage registrar pointed at Larissa. "I'm an orphan, sir. I don't have any older or younger siblings. None of my living family members can be my guardian," Larissa answered, her face suddenly turning sad. "Please be patient, Miss."
