–In the Prilassi Palace…
The relaxing melody of the orchestra playing mixed with laughter and chatters from the palace’s guests. The guests were having a good time in the party prepared for them that night. The King was extremely happy as he received a very good news for him. It was the death of the Emperor of the country of Asseraviel. Well, a few days ago he sent an assassin to execute the emperor for him.
Little did they know that the Emperor was still alive and well, and was heading to their country with his huge army at this very moment. Linfred reached the border gate of the Prilassi country.
The guards who were assigned on watching the borders were alarmed on the sight of the huge cavalry heading towards their direction.
“Send messengers immediately to the palace!” the knight in command in guarding the borders commanded. The messenger immediately mounted his horse and raced as fast as he could towards the capital where the palace is located.
Upon reaching the palace, an hour had already passed. He immediately requested an audience to the King. The word was immediately passed to the King and approved the request. When the King learned the emerging trouble, they were about to face, he immediately ordered the guards to escort the messenger inside.
