The new vision her eyes had obtained gave her a glimpse of the beautiful being beneath the flesh exterior. She could feel his blood flowing through her veins and with it came the bond she had been lacking with him. Reaching out with her hand, she gently touched his leg and gasped at the mental images and information that poured into her mind.
He was trying to communicate without words and she opened her mind letting him in. She saw everything that had happened to him, from the night he’d heard her cry above his grave to now. Flashes of how he’d dug his way out of the ground, finding the puppy… her puppy, Scrappy, and living like an animal for the first few weeks flashed through her memory like a movie.
