CHAPTER 6
Trevor was still smiling as they pulled away from the Chalet. Jake’s mother, Jessica, had been amazing.
The only memory Trevor had of his rescue was of Jake holding him and praying for him and crying. The next two weeks were a blur. He would wake up and see Jake or this woman, who he later found out was Jessica. He found out he had several surgeries and had developed an infection. Apparently, it was touch and go for those two weeks.
When he was finally awake and lucid, they told him what had happened. They had finally learned his name and contacted his mother. She arrived later that day.
