CHAPTER 26
Jake had agreed to let Trevor go with Zack to Seattle. They had checked into their room at the hotel and had gone to the police station. Zack’s position with Homeland Security had opened some doors and they had been able to find out about Autumn’s arrest and the address she had listed. They were leaving in a few minutes to go try to find her.
Trevor felt like he had swallowed acid. He wanted so much to find her. He wanted to help her and share his faith with her.
“Trevor, you realize this might not turn out well. She may not be there, and even if she is, she may not want to listen.” Jake put his hand on Trevor’s shoulder and looked at him.
“I know, but I have been praying and I think God wants this.”
