CHAPTER 7

DANIEL

Never have I ever thought that this could really happen even if I give it a try…

But now, we are here.

“Open it wider.” I whispered and he submissively parted his lips for me. “Good.” He closed his eyes tightly as I aggressively pushed my tongue in and explored the sweet texture of his mouth. He let out a cute moan and I accepted that as an invitation to go further and pushed him down on his stiff and small mattress.

How can you sleep in this kind of bed, won’t your back hurt?

I pushed those thoughts aside when my hand moved on its own and trailed his soft skin under his clothes while I continued to devour his trembling lips. Something in my action made him stiff and he grabbed my hand for me to stop. I slowly pulled back to look at him confused.

“What’s wrong?” I whispered and he stared at me for a while. His red eyes still held so many questions and doubts. 

Am I going too fast?

“I don’t know…”

“What do you mean?” I asked, not moving from my spot and he nervously looked away. This action of his managed to annoy me every single time, but this time I can’t stop adoring how lovely he is in this view-

Daniel, what the hell are you thinking?

“I-I was just talking to Zicky…” My chest immediately clenched when he mentioned his lover again in front of me, but I tried not to get mad. Not right now… You can't ruin this anymore. “And now I’m kissing some other guy.”

Oh? Am I just some other guy to you?

I licked the inside on my cheek in annoyance, but I hid it away as soon as he looked at me.

“I still can’t understand you though.”

“Guess what?” I asked and he raised a brow at me. “I can’t understand you too, but now I’m trying.” He leaned against my palm as soon as it touched his face and I swear my heart skipped a bit in that mere second. 

How adorable…

“I can’t understand myself too.” I added. 

More like, I can’t accept how I feel towards you ever since that day I saw you kissing that man in the woods. Just when I thought there’s someone I can trust and who’ll prioritize me, you started dating another man behind my back. I was so mad back then and that image of you with that guy keeps coming back to me.

I felt betrayed once again even though you are supposed to be only a friend, I reacted like a betrayed lover and hurt you. Even after we learned we were mates, you still choose him over me. Yes, I was the one who suggested to break the bond instead, but why did you agree as if rejecting me would save you?

Don’t I have any worth to you? Well- I was rejected by the whole pack and even by my own mother, so why am I surprised?

A sad smile stretched my lips and his eyes widened.

“Can I clear some things out then?” Lucas suddenly asked and I nodded. “You do care about me, do you?” 

“Yes.” But can you not make it sound embarrassing?

“And you really don’t want me to leave.”

“Yes.”

He stopped after that. We stared at each other and I patiently waited for him to ask more, because from the way he stared at me, it seems like he had a lot of things he wanted to know. 

“I am not comfortable staying here.” He confessed and I nodded.

“I’ll do something about it.” Lucas hesitated, but still nodded though. 

So he will stay?

“Okay.” He took a deep breath, before sitting up and pushing me away from him. His action made my chest ache again. “I’ll do what you want but in three conditions.” His eyes look so serious and I’ve never seen this side of him before. 

Everytime I look at him, he just look so weak, timid and gullible, but now-

“Stop treating me like trash, at least be nice or just ignore me if you can’t.” 

“Okay, I’m sorry.” He blushed a bit before clearing his throat.

“Second is that if you are still confused about your feelings then please do not touch me.” I furrowed my brows at that. “I felt used when you did that. We need to make some changes if you want to get along now.”

So, I can’t touch you? That’s too hard-

“Can you do it?” He asked, staring at me under his thick lashes and I’m already having a hard time, but for the sake of making him stay-

“Okay.”

I need to make some sacrifices.

“I will avoid any skinship with her if you want.” I suggested and he nodded, shyly.

“I’ll appreciate that.” I gave him a nod. “And lastly, please don’t bring her to garden or the backyard if I’m there-“

“I won’t bring her there anymore.” I interrupted, trying to please him. He glanced at me before looking down on his intertwined fingers resting on his lap.

“Thank you…” He mumbled and I can’t stop adoring him from here. 

It’s weird. It’s really weird. I can’t even remember how we came into this?

“Is that all?” I asked and he looked up at me with hesitation in his eyes. It seems like he wanted to add more, please don’t ask something impossible. The second one is already too much-

“Do you know where I can get money?” He asked and I stared at him, surprised.

Servants in the mansion do not receive any payments at all. All their needs were provided for free in exchange though- Only the servants assigned for the goods have ever touched money, but servants like Lucas… Have you ever seen one? I doubt that.

“If you need, I’ll ask Dad for help.” I said and he nodded, desperately.

Now I’m curious on where he’s going to use it, but that can wait. For now-

“So all your conditions will apply starting tomorrow.” I said as I leaned forward, staring deep into his eyes as he blushed from my action. “Right?” I asked and he slowly nodded.

Good.

I smirked to myself before pushing him down.

“W-wait a minute!” He whispered yelled and I ignored him as I targeted the sensitive spot of his neck. A sweet whimper escaped his lips as I nibbled the spot he loves the most. Just by this, the little guy between his leg was already up and wet and I smirked to myself, but Lucas grabbed my shoulder again and pushed me a little.

Now what?

Lucas was using his right arm to cover his mouth and his eyes were already drowning in worries. He soon shook his head at me before looking at the door.

‘The guards.’

Oh yeah I forgot.

“All of you,” I pushed myself up and glared at that door. “Leave.” The three guards I assigned immediately left. Their loud footsteps weaken and I took that as a key to look back at Lucas, who’s now covering his red face with both of his hands.

I licked my lower lips as I smirked down at him. 

“Lucas…”I called and he peeked at me between his fingers, shyly and I smiled.

You better be prepared.

LUCAS

‘You're my mate.’

‘You are mine.’

‘I made a decision and I’m done watching people continue to take you away from me.’

‘Not this time and not anymore.’ 

Dammit… I covered my face when I remembered Daniel’s words. D-Did he really say that to me?

“Lucas…”

But I shouldn’t put my guards down yet- H-He might change his mind again… Before that happens I must be prepared to leave for real- 

“Lucas.”

Save some money and run away- 

“I… I-“

“I said stop thinking about anything else, Lucas.” My eyes widened as my lips parted in a silent scream as I came really hard after his hard, deep thrust.

“Ahh mng!” I threw my head back as I raised my hips up, trying to get away from Daniel as he violated my entrance with his mad member right after I came all over my stomach. He did not fail to hit my sweet spot over and over again, making me lose my mind.

“Don’t bother Lucas.” He chuckled as he rose to his knees to get better access. He soon grabbed my buttcheeks and pulled me closer to his aching d**k. My whole body trembled from his movement and I closed my eyes from the pleasure he’s giving me.

This made me stop thinking straight as I made loud and embarrassing noises. The bed is creaking so bad too and I hope it wouldn’t break-

He raised my chin to meet my eyes while he rested a bit, trying to catch his breath. His mismatched eyes stared at me with full of lust and I swallowed hard from the sight. 

“Just a little bit more.” He whispered before his lips caught mine. I opened my mouth wide for him to welcome himself, he started devouring the inside of my mouth and I placed my palm against his warm, broad chest. His thrust never fails to make me shiver as it gets harder. “I’m cumming Lucas.”

My eyes widened when he pulled back once again and grabbed my waistline to violently expand his way deeper. Finally… I breathed out. My whole body slumped tiredly on the bed. 

“Lucas?”

Feeling my conscious slipping away, I immediately closed my eyes and let myself fall for it.

That was amazing, but something still feels wrong...

Even after clearing things out with Daniel, I still wasn’t able to figure out where I stand. All I know is that he needs me and that he doesn’t want me to leave, but until when?

My wolf wanted to give it a try and so do I.

I just hope that I won't get hurt again…

So I better not fall too hard...

9:37AM

“I-I,” I stuttered as I clasped my hands together in front of me, while facing the Alpha in his office again. 

Daniel suddenly dragged me here as soon as I exited the bathroom just to tell the Alpha myself that I won’t be leaving.

Like really?

“Lucas.” Daniel called out as he stood closer beside me and I looked up at him, nervously. His face which has always been cold and scary towards me has now changed...

He gave me a small smile and I nodded, before looking back at the Alpha who’s raising a brow at us.

“You have something to say before we go, Lucas?” Alpha Liam asked and I nodded at him.

“I decided to stay…” His eyes widened at me. “I-I’m sorry for all the troubles I caused, I’m willing to apologize myself to Rexy as well if I have too.”

“Did Daniel force you to say that?” My eyes widened at the Alpha as he glared at my Mate beside me.

“What do you mean?” Daniel glared back and I stared at them worriedly. 

“Tell me honestly Lucas, do you want to stay here?” The Alpha asked me, ignoring how Daniel frowned at him. “Don’t worry about Daniel threatening you, we can lock him up somewhere so we can leave.” He assured me and I could only open my mouth, trying to find an answer for that.

“The f**k?” Daniel groaned in annoyance beside me. He was about to storm towards the Alpha so I immediately stepped in front of him to stop him. Daniel looked down at me and I glared at him.

“You can’t disrespect the Alpha.” I scolded and he stiffened at me, before looking away at the same time he clicked his tongue. What a child? “And Alpha..” I looked back at the man sitting surprised at his seat. “I won’t be transferring to the Blue Flames Pack anymore.” 

The Alpha finally got it, he leaned on his chair before nodding to himself.

“I understand, I’ll go on my own to explain the changes to the Goldsmiths. No need to come Lucas.” He smiled at me a bit and I smiled back. “But your wolf, will you be fine?” He asked out of the blue. “Your Luna is worried because it seems like you have already fallen severely ill before, or has it been happening lately too?” My eyes widened at that while Daniel stiffened on my back.

Why do you have to mention that in front of Daniel, Alpha?

“Lucas?” I swallowed hard as I looked down. 

“It happened a few times, but it seems to subside if I…”

“If you?” The Alpha asked and I furrowed my brows awkwardly.

How can I explain something so embarrassing? That I need to go to the laundry room and surround myself with Daniel's used clothes for my wolf to calm down and feel as if our Mate was close. The ache seems to lessen a bit, but my heat will come after and Zicky will do his part to help me.

As if I could say that.

“I take medicines.” I lied instead and the Alpha stiffened a bit.

My words seem to remind him what happened to Harris before and there I realized that I made a mistake.

“Daniel.” Alpha glared at the man behind me. They stayed silent and I felt so nervous on how dark the atmosphere became.

Can I leave? Can I leave now?

“Let’s go Lucas.” Daniel said in annoyance after the long silence. I looked up at him and the Alpha, worriedly.

W-What’s wrong this time?

“We will be going first Alpha.” Alpha Liam nodded at me before turning his office chair around. 

Daniel led the way out and I stared worriedly on his back, not knowing what to say. It seems like the Alpha scolded him too much.

“I,” He looked back at me with those eyes. It seems like he has a lot of things to say, but I need to go. “I need to go to work.” I said and it took him a minute before he nodded his head.

The look on his face makes it hard to leave him, but Ms. Madison will scold me if I don’t go now…

“I’ll see you later.” He simply said before turning around to leave, but it worries me.

Can I leave him like this? 

How can I?

I frowned at myself before breaking the condition I made. I ran in front of him and grabbed his collar. He stared at me in surprise as I tiptoed to place a light kiss on his lips. It was just a quick and fragile kiss, but the electricity was strong enough for me to want more, but not now Lucas. I soon pulled back and bit my lower lip in embarrassment under his wide eyed stares.

“I-I’ll see you-“ He suddenly grabbed the back of my head and interrupted me with another kiss. Daniel let out a manly chuckle as I blushed hard.

“Thank you Lucas.” He cupped my face and placed a kiss my forehead before he walked away.

I face-palmed myself in embarrassment after.
