Chapter 29 Andi burst out of the trees, breathing heavy. She hadn't run the whole way but had rushed. And gotten lost. She hadn't been paying attention to where she was going. Her mind was active. Too active. So much was going on. So much didn't make sense. When she walked out into a meadow, one that looked untouched by man, she realized she'd never seen it before. She'd had to retrace her steps. She'd gone way farther than she had imagined. Thankfully she found her way back, but being lost wasn't something she liked, so she'd hustled through the trees a second time. Tired, but glad to be on her lawn, she sank to the ground.
