"Andi. I am so sorry. I love you." Her mom cupped her hands around Andi's face. "I promise I will make this up to you."
"I know. We have a lot to talk about. I'm okay. Go. Be with Scott." She pushed her mom into the ambulance and stepped back.
Marc slung his arm around Andi's shoulders as they watched the ambulance, well really the second one, drive away. The first one held Charles Gorman who, it appeared, had a heart attack. The second had Scott and her mom. Scott, who looked like death was knocking, but he wasn't ready to let go.
