Days passed after the incident and Monica had been experiencing weirder things. At church, someone randomly told her to leave the town.
It was an old woman. She called Monica to the side and begged her to leave.
The woman had warned Monica that the town wasn't what she saw on the outside. Monica had gone back that day feeling a little shaken. Something was fishy.
Monica was in her living room, watching her favourite show on television when she heard a loud thud coming from outside her window. She paused her show, her curiosity getting the best of her. She called out, "Who is there? Hellooo", no one answered so she got up from the couch, looked out the window, and saw the same face cap man who had tried to grab her days ago.
At the sight of him, Monica's heart began to race. She quickly ran to her front door, her eyes darting around the room to make sure there was nothing around that she could use as a weapon.
Then she cautiously opened the door and stepped out onto the porch.
The man was standing there, his face hidden under a cap and his body obscured by shadows. He didn't move when Monica stepped out of her house, and she began to feel a bit braver.
"What do you want?" she asked, her voice quivering slightly.
The man didn't say anything. He just looked around as if he was trying to figure out where he was. Monica was about to ask him again when he suddenly turned and started walking away.
"Hey, I am talking to you" she yelled at him. He paused in his steps and looked at her from his side eye. "I was sent here to warn you but it seems like you can handle yourself"
"Wait a minute. The other day, you tried to talk to me about this town but you left. What is it you want to tell me?" She said, attempting to grab his hand. He pushed her to the ground as he turned to face her, his eyes red.
"I used to be like you. A newcomer. I was told to leave this god-damned town but I refused. I thought they were being absurd. But those people… those evil people… they tried to kill me. They tried to murder me…" he fell to his knees, grunting in pain.
Monica had no reaction. She sat still watching him. He continued, "... They tried to kill me, but they couldn't. They couldn't kill me so they killed my family", tears started to roll from his eyes.
Monica, still confused, reached out to comfort me. He pushed her away, her hands hitting the door. She hissed in pain, "I was only trying to comfort you"
"They killed my family because I did not listen. I had the chance to leave but I didn't. Don't be like me. Be wise. Save yourself first and get out of here." He stood to his face, wiping his face filled with tears.
Mucus rolled from his nose as he wiped them with his sleeve, "This town is filled with evil… leave before it's too late", with that, he opened the window and jumped out.
The stranger left Monica on the ground, more afraid than she was. More shaken than she was from yesterday, eyes almost leaking. She got up and began to pack her bags. She will leave Pearl Town tomorrow.

"Sir, we are here," the driver said loudly as he lowered the divide between him and his boss. Sam signalled him an 'okay'
Sam stepped out of the car and onto the pavement, the sun glaring down at him.
He grumbled under his breath and quickly rushed towards the entrance of the office building, his two assistants hustling behind him, one holding an umbrella over his head.
Sam was always a creature of the night, never allowing the sun to touch his skin or his wardrobe. He wore a tan suit and dark sunglasses, a combination that made him look like a secret agent.
He marched into the building, nodding his head to the receptionists who greeted him. He made his way up the stairs to the fourth floor, where the offices of his business were located.
As he stepped into the hallway, he could feel the eyes of his employees on him, watching him cautiously. He ignored them and proceeded towards his office, eager to get to work.
"What do we have scheduled for today?" He asked his first secretary. His hands are in his pocket.
"Sir. You are meeting with the Senate today. As regards the real estate project, you have a meeting to attend with your father.
Your presence is very much expected" the first secretary replied as she flipped the pages of her journal. Her hands shook from the fear of imperfection.
"Anything else? He turned to his second secretary. His face was void of expression.
"No sir." The second secretary replied, nodding repeatedly as he gave his boss a bow.
"Good. I will attend the first meeting scheduled. My father can attend the second without me. I have something I wish to do."
"But sir… " the first secretary tried to break in. Sam lifted his index finger and shook it.
"Don't ever interrupt me again in your Life. “That is if you want this job," he said firmly. His movement quickened as he left them and got into the meeting room.
He sat at the highest position of the Bloodcot Company. The highest blood bank in the entire Europe. They were practically billionaires. He and his father. Everyone else ventured into art.
As he spoke, he explained the propaganda for what was needed. He was good at his job. Everyone knew that but one thing about Mr Sam Tarock was that he gave off a scary vibe.
He never walked under the sun, was always dressed in black, and was really pale. His lips were red as fire and his bold cold as ice. Everyone suspected him to be a vampire.
Today, the vampire stood in the middle of the meeting room, the light from the chandelier casting an eerie glow over his pale, angular face. He was dressed in an impeccably tailored tan suit, the fabric clinging to their slender frame like a second skin.
He had taken off his glasses as he explained to the team what was to be done.
His eyes were a piercing shade of blue, and their lips were slightly parted, revealing a hint of fang. People rumoured that he wore it for a show, to show he was scary. To prove he wasn't to be messed with, while others rumoured it was real.
While talking, Sam surveyed the room silently, his gaze moving over the people in attendance with an air of disdain. He stepped forward, his movements smooth and graceful.
He stopped in front of a woman and leaned in, his voice low and seductive. "Good evening, my dear. You seemed distracted. Are you all right?" They smiled, revealing a row of sharp, white teeth.
The woman nodded, too mesmerized to do anything else, and soon, Sam took her hand in their own.
"You'll be fine. For now.. " he turned to face the room again, "... The meeting is over. Everyone back to work." He turned back to her, "Come with me." She shivered as she nodded and followed him silently.
He took her into his office and sat her down, "I want to have dinner with you and possibly have s*x with you" he smiled as he leaned in closer, his body inches from her.
" Sir… I… I … I ... am not sure about this" she quivered. Her legs shook as she tried to coordinate herself in front of him.
"I won't bite. Go on. Tell me what you have in mind. If it's not all right by you, I will respect your decision" he smiled as he placed his hands on her shoulders, his grin widening as his fangs slowly shown.
The woman huffed. Her breath slowly became stable.
"I'm sorry sir. I have a boyfriend and I would love to respect him. I will not be having dinner with you or having s*x with you either. Thank you for your time. I will see myself out" she said as she got up and walked to the door. With a bow, she opened the door and closed it behind her.
Sam smiled.
"Well, guess who is going to be my meal tonight?" He laughed loudly. "She should have just let me have her the easy way. Now she has to die too. Such a pity".
He got up, grabbed his coat and his cell phone, looked out the window, and walked out of the office.

Night had come and Elena, the woman had asked out for dinner and a one-night stand was ready to leave the office.
She waved at her colleagues and was already by the exit gate.
Something was watching her from the rooftop of the building beside Bloodcot. Elena waved goodbye to the security guard.
"Goodnight Dave. See you on Monday"
"Goodnight Elena, see you on Monday. Have a lovely weekend" the security guard waved at her too.
She smiled and made her way to her car.
The creature watched as she entered her car and ignited its engine. Her boyfriend called her cell phone and she picked it up.
"I'm just leaving work. I'll be there soon babe. Take care" she said over the phone as she blew him air kisses and started driving.
She left the car park and drove home. Elena had made her way safely onto the highway and was fifteen minutes away from her house when something fast and dark ran past her car.
She pulled her brakes immediately and her car went flying by the side of the road.
…
Elena looked around in terror and quickly scrambled out of the car. She had no idea what was going on. She had just been driving along the road when something strange passed her. It was the last thing she remembered before her car crashed.
At first, she thought it must have been her imagination playing tricks but then she felt something grab her. She screamed and tried to run away, but the thing had a grip on her. She could feel its cold, slimy hands on her body.
The next thing Elena knew; she was being lifted off the ground by what seemed to be a vampire. His long, sharp claws were gripping her tightly from behind. Elena was petrified and her heart was pounding.
The vampire then flew away with Elena in his arms. He flew faster and faster, taking them into the night sky. Elena could not believe what was happening. She was certain that she was about to experience the last moments of her life.
But then, out of nowhere, a bright light appeared in front of them. It was the headlights of a car. The car had pulled up and stopped beside the crashed vehicle.
The vampire was so startled that he dropped Elena to the ground. She quickly scrambled away and ran to the car where she was met by a kind stranger. The stranger had seen the crash and had stopped to help.
Elena was relieved and thanked the stranger for his kindness. She then explained what had happened and the stranger offered to take her to a nearby hospital.
Overwhelmed with relief, Elena happily accepted the offer and the two of them drove off into the night.
Elena had been so startled by the incident that happened earlier that she didn't look at the stranger's face, so while he drove, she stole a peek at his face.
"Mr Sam? wait?! You look like Mr Sam?"
The stranger smiled. His grip tightened on the car steering. Elena widened her eyes in disbelief as he took out one hand to remove his face cap and mask.
"I am Mr Sam. Welcome to my hell, Elena." He said.
"What… What do you mean by that, sir? ?" She asked but Sam kept giggling.
A few minutes passed as he drove with Elena and then suddenly, he stopped. Elena got confused when he made a sudden stop. She turned to look around.
They were both in the middle of the woods, in a car, at night, all alone. She started to scream for help.
"Where are you taking me?"
"Nowhere. We are waiting for my friend" he replied.
As he spoke, something landed on the car's roof. It was the creature that had earlier attacked Elena. It crawled down from the car's roof and got into the back seat.
Elena gasped.
"Sir. What's going on? What is this? Who is this? What are you doing and where are you taking me?"
"For starters, this is my friend…" he replied as he turned to his back seat to introduce his buddy "... he followed you and scared you so that you could run into my arms. Before I had asked to have dinner with you but Now, I will have you as my dinner and then kill you. " He giggled.
His laughter grew.
Elena began to beg. When she saw that he was listening, she tried to fight him. She kicked him in the face and tried to run out of the car.
Elena got out of the car and ran into the woods. Sam who sat in the car laughed at her attempt to escape him. He waited for a few minutes then signalled the creature to get her.
**
Elena felt her heart racing as she ran as fast as her legs could carry her. The creature had come out of the car and was now behind her getting closer and closer, and Elena could feel its menacing presence looming ever closer.
She had no idea where she was or how she had gotten here, but she knew she had to get away from this thing. Her mind was racing, and she had no idea what to do or where to go. She ran faster and faster, but the creature still seemed to be gaining on her.
Then, she saw a car parked at the edge of the street. She ran towards it, hoping that it would provide her with some form of escape. As she got closer, she realized it was locked and empty.
She turned her back and saw the creature right beside her. Elena called for help as loud as she could. She screamed and tried to fight the creature but it was too strong.
It held her by the neck and choked her. She kept struggling, her legs swinging and kicking. The creature laughed,
"It's funny how humans struggle to live. You, humans, are like playthings to us. Stop struggling and let my master have you so that you can die in peace"
Elena heard that and began screaming. She begged for her life but the creature didn't listen, it dragged her back to the car.

Monica had just had enough of the town and was already leaving. She had gotten her stuff all packed in her car and was ready to leave.
She didn't want anything to do with Pearl town anymore.
She barely lived in it for a week, and when packing, she didn't even bother to get a refund on her rent, she just wanted to leave. Her landlord could have the money, she didn't care.
She got into her car and started driving.
She drove past her favourite bakery and decided to get a snack. She got one and continued her journey. The atmosphere felt lonely so she turned on the music. She sang along as she enjoyed herself. Everything was going well.
The journey was going smoothly as she was out of town already and halfway to another city when her car's brake failed. It was unexpected and she got into an accident. She nearly died but miraculously, she survived, without a scratch.
She was just shaken.
The car hasn't been scratched either. It just stopped at a certain point, after running off the highway. She wondered what had really happened. She checked the engine and everything else. It was intact, and the car was fine but it wouldn't move.
"What is going on?" She yelled in frustration as she tried to move her car. She got fed up with trying and decided to go back to the road to get help, while she was walking back up, Monica saw something chasing a girl. It was fast and scary. She got on the flood, and with fear, she watched.
Monica witnessed the creature catch the girl. She watched as it choked her and spoke something, she couldn't hear them but she knew it wasn't good.
The creature dragged her back to the car it came from. Someone came out of it. The three stood there for a few minutes and she watched as someone dug his teeth into the girl. It looked like it was sucking her blood.
She felt her body shiver. It was a vampire.
After he had sucked her blood to his satisfaction, he snapped her neck. The innocent girl fell to the ground lifeless.
Monica was scared. She had just witnessed a vampire sucking blood from a girl.
Monica gasped loudly and suddenly, the creature and the man turned their neck.
It seemed like they had heard her. She used her both hands to cover her mouth. She needed to stay calm.
"Check the area over there. It seems someone or something is out there"
Her heartbeat ran faster as she heard those words. She didn't dare to move.
"Can you find anyone? Search behind the trees. I'm sure I heard something. “The creature had come closer.
"Check next to that big tree over there"
She suspected the voice belonged to the man who had drunk blood from the girl and snapped her neck. Monica felt liquid roll down her neck. She had peed on herself.
"I think I see something…. Is that a leg I see?" The man approached Monica, he saw her lying flat on the ground and flipped her over. She flipped over and saw the face of the killer clearly.
"Please let me go. I didn't see anything or anyone. I promise I won't tell a soul. Please" she immediately got on her knees.
The man stood above her, looking straight in the eyes. He smiled as he signalled the creature to make her stand.
The creature helped Monica to her feet. The man took a few minutes to access her, Monica whimpering.
"Please. I promise not to do anything or say anything. In fact, I was on my way out of town. My car broke down and that's why I saw that. Please" she continued to beg, tears building in her eyes. He didn't respond, he just looked at her as though he was inspecting her for pageantry.
Sam was still accessing her when he perceived something off. He stopped. He squinted his eyes and wrinkled his nose.
"What is that?" He asked.
"Is that pee I smell?" He asked again, his smile widening. He lifted his arms and started clapping. Monica and the creature beside her were confused.
He laughed and clapped until he stopped.
"What's your name?" He said as he lifted her chin slowly. Her eyes stared directly into his eyes. His red eyes. His face was pale and his palm, dry.
Monica stuttered, "Sir… my name is Monica. I just moved to Pearl Town but I was on my way out when I had an accident. My car stopped… and that was when I fell on the ground here. I promise, I didn't see anything. " she stopped talking
All the while, Sam stared at her, he noticed her features. She was even more beautiful than Elena. He suddenly became horny by just watching her speak. He liked her already.
" Did you pee on yourself because you were scared?"
"Yes sir. " Monica answered as she looked down, her face full of embarrassment. He smiled.
"I like that."
"Huh?"
"Do you squirt?" He asked her.
Monica was quite clear on the question so she raised her head and looked at him.
" Sir, what do you mean by squirt?"
He smiled as he released her chin from his grip and ran his hands down her arm, " I mean if I
fuck you, will that liquid that came out a while ago, will it come out again?" He shifted his hand to her spine as he slowly caressed her back.
"Sir. I don't know what you mean and I am not sure what you are talking about?" She answered, confused but her voice shaking with fear.
He caressed the skin on her back as he leaned closer and whispered in her ears, "are you a virgin, Monica?"
"Sir… I … I think. I think that is an inappropriate question. I'm sorry for being here at the wrong time."
She answered as she kept her face straight, trying to focus on the question. Trying to resist the effect of his touch on her skin and the fact that she was being caressed by a vampire.
"Monica. I have an offer for you." He said as he grabbed her ass.
He squeezed it tightly. Monica felt uneasy. She felt his breath on her skin as he stood there, enjoying what he was doing to her. Suddenly, he dropped his hands to his side. He moved from her side and stood in front of her.
Sam stood in front of Monica, an evil smirk spread across his face. He had a plan, and he was sure it would work. He had his creature friend back him up, and he was sure Monica wouldn't refuse his offer.
"Monica, I have a proposition for you," Sam began. "My creature friend here and I won't kill you if you agree to have s*x with us."
Monica's eyes widened in shock. She had never heard of such an outrageous offer before. She wanted to scream and run away, but she knew it was futile.
She was completely alone, and there was no one to help her.
"What do you say?" Sam asked, his smirk growing wider.
Monica was terrified, but she also knew she had no other choice. She nodded her head slowly, and Sam and his creature friend began to move closer. Monica closed her eyes and braced herself for what was about to come.
She stuttered as her head fell. "But sir. this is just too much", she said, her eyes teary, her hands trembling.
"Do you want to live or not?" He asked again.
"I want to live"
"Then make a choice."
With tears in her eyes, Monica nodded her head.
She raised her head up and
"Good. Now, get on the floor and spread your legs"
