MILLICENT
“Lol,” it blurted out of my mouth before I could stop myself.
The two boys in front of me blinked their eyes, and they looked so identical to me, I guess they were twins, and they must be the twins Ari had told me about. The so-called king of the boys…school, however way she had put it.
I wouldn't lie, but they looked handsome as hell
and tall!
Damn!
The one who had spoken gibberish just now gave off a playful, cheeky, and mischievous vibe while the one beside him who had asked for my name earlier, his eyes were cloudy and gray as a hurricane storm… he looked cold and gave off a dark, mysterious vibe.
‘From now on, you are ours. A f**k toy and no one else's.’ I almost laughed at this one's statement.
How the hell are there so many clowns in this school?
I had high expectations, but right now, it's way below zero.
“Lol?” the one who had approached me first, repeated. He looked surprised and amused at the same time.
“Did she just say lol?” he turned to his twin, whose gaze was fixated on me.
I sighed, desperate to take my leave. I just want to be locked up in my room, curled up beneath the duvet, munch on some chips, and continue the thriller novel where I'd left it.
I tried to walk my way stubbornly between the twins when the one with a mischievous grin on his face blocked my path and I frowned. I snapped my gaze at him.
“What do you want?” I flared at him. I wasn't up for these silly games.
“Mm, fierce… I like you already,” he chuckled, and my brows furrowed at him.
What the hell was he talking about?
“Well, good for you, and if you will please excuse me, I'll be happy to leave,” I tried to say calmly. They were starting to get on my nerves, especially the one who was staring at me creepily.
“Should we let our f**k toy leave, Zayne?” the one blocking my path turned to his cold twin who had been gawking at me.
“Excuse me?” I snapped.
The f**k, does he mean by f**k toy? I’d only resumed school today— my first day, and they are already labeling me as their f**k toy.
Are these twins sick?
“I'm not you two f**k toy, get that straight in your skull,” I fired at him.
He smirked and moved closer to me, invading my personal space, his green eyes were intimidating, but I refused to cower instead I stood my ground to them.
He leaned his head next to mine, lowering his height so he could level with mine, and looked directly into my eyes. Suddenly, it felt difficult to breathe, I couldn't breathe… I mean I was f*****g holding my breath because of these crazy psychos.
He smirked, “You are…very soon,” he said confidently, his eyes trailing to my lips and I so much wanted to wipe that smirk off his face.
He straightened himself, shoving his hands into his pocket, and took a few steps backward, finally giving us a space, a cocky grin appeared on his lips.
“Let’s leave our play toy for now, Zayne, we'll be back for her,” he looked at his brother, and they took their leave before they left. The one called Zayne gave me a long stare before he left with his twin.
When they were finally out of my sight, I let out a long sigh. How long had I been holding my breath because of those two?
I think I’m in for some real s**t.
The next day, it was time for our combat classes, and I was excited about it even though I knew I was going to be the weakest because of my inability to have a wolf regardless this was the time to show off my martial skills in the combat class.
I'm going to do everything in my being to be strong. With or without having a wolf and make father proud.
I've heard from other students that it was crazy during combat classes, there was serious competition among the students, and just like me… many people wanted to show their opponents how strong they were. Well, that was the main reason we were all enrolled in this school in the first place.
To be trained as one of the future strongest Alpha or Luna.
I had changed into my fighting uniform and packed my hair up in a ponytail.
Walking in the hallway had been nothing but hell and disaster. I got curious stares from everyone, and they even whispered among themselves as I passed by.
Some gave me a look of admiration, while some frowned and looked away, exactly, how it should be in the first place.
It was as if I became popular overnight. What I hated about the most was being seen and noticed for something that wasn't good, and I give all the thanks to that b***h.
Sandra.
If only she had stopped and not engaged me further in the fight.
The energy I felt before I entered the hall, drained without a second thought when my eyes fell on Sandra, then the twins.
Sandra was with some girls, and they looked bitchy and arrogant just as she was. She saw me first and scowled, then said something to the three girls with her, and they all turned their heads to me, giving me malicious stares.
On the other hand, the twins hadn't noticed my presence. I ignored Sandra and her set of meanie girls who were giving me killer eyes and tried to blend in among the crowd of students on the other side of the hall.
So much for me wanting to keep a low profile, instead, I managed to tick off the wrong feet.
Everyone was busy talking in pairs, talking to one person in particular or in groups, while I just stood, staring at nothing in particular.
“Was she the one who fought with Sandra, yesterday?” I heard some girls say beside me and I rolled my eyes.
Oh, please!
“Yes, yes, the new student. Isn't she cool?” The other asked.
“Yes, she looks so cool and so pretty, I think she looks even prettier than Sandra,” the girl with brunette hair whispered to her friend.
“Shhh! You don't want Sandra to hear you say that,” she hushed her friend.
Well, I thank them for the compliment, but these certain sets of people are the ones who would be igniting and inciting a fight where it lies peacefully.
“Who the f**k looks prettier than me?” We heard a loud condescending voice and I gasped, looking ahead of me.
How the—
I froze.
Sandra…
She was just on the other side of the hall while I came to this side. When did she get here?
She looked angry. She stared deadly at me then at the two girls who were gossiping beside me, and she didn't come alone.
She brought her three meanies along with her.
Moon f**k!
