Amaya felt content in this moment. She smiles at Amara’s headstone, sitting in front of it for the past hour, talking to it. There was a soft breeze surrounding her and it felt as if Amara was there, hugging her as she let out the past that she's let go.
After the news of carrying twins, Amaya begged the doctor to travel. She had missed Amara so much and wanted nothing more than to go back to Boston and visit her. After spending agonizing weeks in the hospital and multiple check-ups, doctor Parker gave her the green light.
