Love in Paris
David and Olivia's trip to Paris was everything they had dreamed of and more.
They arrived in the evening, rented a car from the airport and drove straight to their hotel to rest.It was almost midnight before they woke up.They were so hungry.They quickly showered,got dressed and drove straight to the Gourmet restaurant sphere for dinner.
After their dinner, they drove round the city sightseeing.They took a stop at Eiffel Tower.It was truly a sight to behold at night. Staring with wonder, David and Olivia watched as the tower glowed with millions of lights.
They watched the sunset and saw monuments such as the Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame Cathedral among many others, certainly an experience that was worthwhile.
The next morning,the lovers were off to visit the Palace of Versailles.They learnt about the French history at the former home of Marie Antoinette, King Louis XIV and France’s most famous kings and queens who walked the hallways and corridors of the Palace of Versailles.
The entire day was spent admiring the Hall of Mirrors and wandering around the palace and its grounds.
On the third day they decided to stay in their hotel.They had their breakfast served in their room.While they were at it,David's phone rang and it was his mother.His countenance changed.He had a premonition of what she wanted to say.
"Why didn't you tell me you were traveling,"His mother blurted out before David could say anything."I called your office asking to speak with you and your secretary told me you travelled".She continued.
"Hello mother", David said."I am on vacation with Olivia".
"On vacation with Olivia", where?, Barbara exclaimed.
"Mother we are in Paris.I will see you when we get back". David replied and quickly cut the line before Barbara could offer more unsolicited comments.
They continued their food in silence.But Olivia wasn't happy, and David noticed it.So he entwined his hand with hers.
Quietly Olivia said,"Your mother doesn't want us to be together".It wasn't a question, but a statement confirming what she has suspected all along.
"Babe, nothing can interfere with my love for you.You are my everything and you will always be mine". David assured her.
Their vacation continued in fun and full of romance.They were more in love with each other.The City of Love was the perfect backdrop for their blossoming romance, and they made the most of every moment.
On the third day David took Olivia through the Louvre, admiring the art and history together.She was so elated.
In the evening they went on a romantic night cruise on the Seine river.While sipping wine, they were shown the south and north of Paris.Their guide pointed out many famous impressionist paintings, including Monet’s Bathers at La Grenouillere and Renoir’s Seine River at Olivia was mesmerized. Later as they strolled hand in hand along the Seine, She gazed lovingly at David. Her eyes sparkled with appreciation, and she kissed him passionately.
Olivia's heart raced as she felt David's love. She wrapped her arms around him, deepening the kiss. They were like this for a few minutes engrossed in the wonders of their love.
The evening before their departure David surprised Olivia with a romantic dinner at Le Chardenoux bistro. He ordered her favorite dish of scallops and lobster pasta.Olivia was moved with emotion.She turned to David and said "I had such a wonderful time vacating with you, you have cared and loved me with everything.I love you David, forever and always".
"I love you more than words can express." David lovingly replied.
Their trip to Paris was a celebration of their love, and they made every moment count. They laughed, they loved, and they cherished every second together.
