Chapter two Blooming Romance David couldn't stop thinking of Olivia. He wanted to get to know her better.The day after their initial encounter, he summoned the courage to call her at work. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, and they made plans for a date at an art museum the following weekend. This feeling was new to him.He was both anxious and excited.He had never felt this way about anyone before. When the sun rose above the horizon on Saturday morning, he sprang out of bed. Emails were answered, schedules reviewed, and a quick shower later, he sat down to a simple breakfast of omelette. He got dressed in a crisp sky-blue shirt, black pants, and white sneakers, David was ready for their date. Olivia had already texted him her address,a cozy house nestled on the outskirts of town, about the thirty minutes drive from his own. When David arrived at Olivia’s doorstep, he was impressed by her punctuality. He didn't have to wait for her to get dressed.She greeted him with a warm smile, her flowery yellow gown adding a touch of whimsy to her elegance. Her long black hair was neatly pulled into a bun, emphasizing her delicate features. David’s eyes swept over her features appreciatively.She looked away shyly.At six feet tall, his well-built frame radiated strength and masculinity. "Are you not going to invite me inside?"David teased handing her the flowers he had brought along. "Oh sorry,forgive my manners.Please come inside",She said."And thank you for the flowers , they are lovely". Before she could move away from the door,he drew her into his embrace and hugged her."I couldn't wait to see you",he murmured."I want to get to know you better, would you want that too", David said to Olivia. Olivia nodded, her heart fluttering. They stepped out of her house and into David’s sleek Porsche.China flat museum was hosting a new exhibit on impressionist art, and they spent hours admiring the beautiful paintings.They went through the gallery,David watched her eyes light up as she explained the brush strokes, the play of colors and the emotions behind each painting. After leaving the museum, they grabbed sandwiches and headed to a nearby park. They sat on a bench, observing children at play. David realized he was falling for Olivia.The way her laughter danced in the air, the way her eyes crinkled when she spoke about her childhood memories. He couldn’t resist touching her face, his gaze filled with intention. Without a word, David leaned in, his lips brushing against Olivia's in a gentle, tender kiss. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the magic of their first kiss. Olivia was entranced as she felt David's lips on hers, the soft pressure sending shivers down her spine. She kissed him back, her lips parting slightly as she deepened the kiss. It was as if the whole world had come to a standstill, leaving only the two of them, lost in the beauty of their love.Both of them knew as they pulled away gasping for air,that their lives would never be the same again.David knew he wanted to spend more moments like this with Olivia. The day continued at Barefoot Restaurant, where David treated Olivia to an extravagant meal. Their connection deepened, and as they drove back to her house, gratitude filled their hearts. Fate had brought them together, and they were ready to explore this blooming romance.
