"Your Majesty, are you inside?"
Trish's voice from behind the door distracted Rion. He hit the wall one more time before he opened the door. He put on a cold, flat expression. From a distance away, Anwen noticed the two men standing opposite each other.
Trish forbade Anwen to come near because he was worried that if Rion truly was taken over by Lucifer, then Anwen's safety could be in danger. Lucifer hated the girl.
Trish looked into the king's eyes very closely. He tried to figure out if the person that stood before him right now was the king or Lucifer.
"Are you alright, Your Majesty?" he asked Rion to make sure. He was convinced that the king was not being taken over, but was angry. Very angry.
Trish had been Rion's right-hand man for many years. They had spent a lot of time together. Because of that, Trish already knew Rion and his alters, especially Lucifer, who appeared most often.
"Have you done what I asked you to do?" Rion answered Trish's question with an unrelated question.
"Yes, Your Majesty. Until now, the number of victims who have died is ten, with fifteen in critical condition. The palace team of doctors and the team from the health center continue to do their best to save those who are in critical condition," Trish explained.
"Get ready, we are going to attend the funeral," Rion said flatly. He tried his best so that his personal matters would not interfere with his obligations as the king.
"Very well, Your Majesty." Trish bowed politely, while Rion closed the door. He saw that the entire room was filled with only a bed, cupboard, sofa, and table. The room was very far from the king's chamber in general. It was almost similar to a prison room.
Ornaments and decorations were intentionally left out because Rine could destroy all of these things and turn them into tools for suicide. When Rose was still around, the room looked so alive. Now everything was so empty.
Rion took a deep breath and then exhaled. He had to calm down. He then walked to the bathroom to clean up and get ready to go to the funeral. While he cleaned himself up, he recalled the events of the morning. He woke up n***d and Odette sat next to him in the same state.
'Did I really do that to Odette?' He wondered in his mind while looking down at his lower body. He couldn't remember anything about it, but his body left several marks that told him that he really did.
How could that happen?
He only remembered that after he gave orders to Levin, he rushed to his room as he felt a headache. He closed the door and then suddenly woke up in such an embarrassing state.
His memory of last night was only until he closed the door. He felt that, soon after, he was taken over, but by whom? Who was the personality inside him that had done such a despicable thing?
Was it Lucifer, Rine, or Jack? It couldn't be Bee, because he was a child.
It couldn't be the dog either.
As far as Rion knew, Lucifer only focused on hurting people. The problems he caused had never been related to the issue of harassment. As for Rine, he only focused on finding ways to kill himself.
And Jack, he was a man who loved dancing, and parties, and thinks every day is a holiday. Besides that, he also liked to woo girls…
Rion was stunned. Jack? He thought it was Jack who had the most potential to do that.
His eyebrows and eyes narrowed, while his hands were busy rubbing his body with soap. Twenty minutes later, he had finished his bathing and dressing routine. Now he, Trish, and a few others were getting ready to go to the medical center, where all the bodies were buried.

The king's entourage was greeted by Doctor Morigan – the head doctor, who led the medical center, and Aerith – his secretary. They were led to the room where the coffins containing the bodies of the victims were stored.
The coffins were decorated with flowers and were ready to be transported to the Panthera Palace cemetery to join all the previous knights who had died while in the line of duty.
"Why are there only seven?" Rion asked.
Arlo, who had been assigned to the medical center since yesterday explained, "The other three people have been taken by the family. Seven of them are from outside the capital. I have sent people to convey this message of condolences to their families."
"Does Your Majesty wish to postpone the funeral until their families arrive?" Trish asked.
"Sorry to interrupt, Your Majesty, but we can't delay the funeral any longer, because their wounds are very fatal. If it is delayed any longer, the corpse will rot," explained Doctor Morigan.
After he heard this, Rion decided to bury the seven knights without waiting for their family to arrive. The procession of coffins invited the people to take to the streets. They saluted the king and his late knights, who were being led to their final resting places.
The funeral ceremony took place solemnly. The seven men were given the honor they deserved if they died as brave Panthera Knights. The location of the cemetery was the opposite location of the cemetery where Lucas was buried.
"Trish, go visit Lucas," Rion said when the funeral procession was over. He saw Trish looking at the cemetery on the other side.
"What about you, Your Majesty?"
"I already visited him last night."
Trish was a little surprised.
"So, you were here last night, Your Majesty? Why didn't you tell me or take me? Last night I was confused, looking for you," said Trish. He remembered he had not slept all night. He was looking for his king, who left without saying anything to him.
"Go. I will return to the palace together with Anwen and the others," said Rion.
"Very well, Your Majesty. I shall follow as soon as possible."
After Trish left, Rion looked at his sister. She was bidding farewell to the seven knights, one by one, with a sad feeling. Anwen was sad because she was good friends with almost all the knights in the palace, that included the seven of them.
"Arlo, take Anwen home," he ordered the young man standing nearby.
"Very well, Your Majesty."
Rion got on his horse and looked at the cemetery across. Last night, he and Odette were there and he took Odette away when it was raining.
They were so close. There was no distance between them as they walked. The girl smiled and looked comfortable as he hugged her. However, this morning she slapped him, pushed him away, and said she hated him so much.
Rion gripped the reins of his horse very tightly. The thought that Odette hated him, made him feel scared and angry at the same time.
'Who do you… think you are?' He pulled the reins of his horse and made the horse run. 'How dare you slap me, scream, and insult me in front of everyone. How dare you… break my heart after you put it together with your sweet words.'
Rion spurred his horse at a very fast pace. He left everyone that followed him in shock.
