Several female servants delivered food and drinks to room no. 8. They came one by one with trays after trays of food. Odette was quite surprised to see so much food being brought into her room. She wondered in her mind, why had Rion ordered so much food? All that food couldn't be eaten even by ten people.
"Thank you," said Odette as soon as all the food was neatly arranged on the table. The servants bowed politely before they left.
Now, in that room, Odette was faced with various types of dishes that made her saliva almost drip. Her stomach, which has not been filled with anything since this afternoon, immediately growled. But then, it raised a question, where was Rion? Why hadn't he come back yet?
She smelled the aroma of the beverage in a bottle. Before she poured it into a glass. She had to make sure it wasn't the kind of drink that would make her drunk.
She then sat down and enjoyed her drink. She would eat after Rion returned.
"Actually, what juice is this?" Odette muttered after she took a gulp. It tasted sour, sweet, and slightly bitter. The color of the drink was like orange juice, but the taste was not citrusy at all. The sweet and sour taste was different from oranges.

Meanwhile, at this time, Rion had just arrived at one of the secluded sides of the inn. For a while, he was silent there. He watched the rain fall on the ground.
"What are you doing here?" he asked the indigo-haired man, who had just arrived. Levin was standing behind him.
"I was on my way to the palace when I received news that the palace was attacked by monsters controlled by Prince Aiden? Is that true, Your Majesty?"
"Yes." Rion closed his eyes as he nodded slowly, then turned to face Levin.
"So, it is true. He teleported all those creatures and controlled them. It seems he has prepared himself for revenge." Levin sighed.
"That's true, and I want you to find out about Aiden's whereabouts. He teleported monsters from Randle Forest, so maybe you can start your quest from there. You can ask for help from Roul in the North Tower."
"Very well, Your Majesty." Levin bowed politely, he wanted to leave, but he paused because he wanted to ask something. "Um… By the way, Your Majesty, what are you doing here?"
Levin thought the king was currently in the palace taking care of all the chaos there. So, seeing the king's presence at the inn was a surprise for him.
"I came back from visiting Lucas' grave," Rion replied curtly. "Now go and do your job!"
"Uh… Your Majesty, can I go after the rain stops?"
"Now," said Rion in an intimidating tone.
"Okay..." Levin covered his fear with a sweet smile like an obedient boy.
After he saw Levin leave in his carriage, and several bodyguards and servants, Rion massaged his temples. He was feeling a massive headache. Rion then returned to the inn. His brows furrowed as the headache inside his head became more intense.
He stepped hastily into the room and ignored everyone who saw him.
SLAM!
Rion closed the door hard and tried to catch his breath. He was panting slightly in panic at the thought of relapse. Gosh...
The arrival of Aiden reminded him of all the bad things he had done to Rose and Lucas made him feel tense and emotional. He hoped he didn't relapse, not now. Rion pleaded in his heart, as pain gripped his head.
As usual, though, his wish was never granted.
His eyes and facial expressions changed. His eyes which were very sharp slowly looked around the room with a confused feeling. His brows furrowed slightly when he saw a brown-haired woman sitting on a chair with her head on the table.
"The duck?" He stepped slowly towards Odette, who was sleeping. After standing near the girl, he fell silent while he watched her face. It was either a hallucination or a mirage, but he saw the girl smiling broadly and he faintly heard the sound of laughter.
This girl was not sleeping, but what happened to her? Her behavior was that of an insane person.
"Oi, Duck!" he called. His voice made Odette open her eyes, and straightened her back. She then looked up at the face of the man standing beside her.
"Hmm." Odette smiled widely, and her head swayed like grass in the wind. "You're back? Why have you been gone for so long? You made me miss you," she said in a coyish tone, then returned a big smile.
Lucifer, who was currently taking over Rion's body was surprised by the girl's behavior.
'Is she drunk?' Lucifer furrowed his brows.
"What?" His eyes widened when Odette suddenly stood up and hugged him tightly.
"I miss you so much. I can't be away from you," said Odette as she hugged Lucifer very tightly. If the body she was hugging was smaller than hers, then it would have been crushed. Fortunately for Lucifer, he was much bigger than Odette.
Lucifer was silent. Like a rock. Odette's sudden action of hugging him and the words that the girl said made her heart flutter.
"W-what now?" Finally, his eyes blinked after being wide open for nearly fifteen seconds. After he was moved from his reverie, Lucifer immediately grabbed Odette's shoulders. He intended to push the girl away from him, but he suddenly stopped when she looked up at him, and gently touched his cheek.
Odette had really taken Lucifer by surprise time and time again.
"You are very handsome, but you're even more handsome when you smile." Odette smiled gently, then rested her head against the man's chest, who was currently silent like a statue. Luckily, the man still remembered to keep breathing.
"Why did you stop, Lucy? Let's push her and throw her against the wall," Lucifer mumbled to himself, but his hands wrapped around her back instead.
"No. It is not like that. Okay, don't push, just crush the bones," He mumbled again, and his hand stroked the girl's head very gently, which was the exact opposite of what he wanted.
'WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, LUCY?!'
He was still stroking Odette's hair, and even kissing the girl's head affectionately.
'What are you doing, Lucy? Was it because your soul was locked up that you became like this?'
While she hugged Lucifer, Odette finally opened up her heart and confessed everything she wanted to tell Rion.
"I know smiling when our hearts hurt is very difficult, and it's self-deceiving, but I can't stand the look in your eyes that look so desperate and in so much pain. Tell me what should I do to reduce your suffering? Seeing you suffer makes me feel tortured," she whispered in a hoarse voice.
Odette's body almost fell to the floor when she felt things around her spinning. Luckily, Lucifer held her back, so she didn't fall to the cold floor.
"Hey, you have five heads." Odette laughed, and Lucifer smiled subconsciously. "You're a hundred times more handsome when you smile. I want you to always smile like this." Odette touched Lucifer's cheek and looked the man in the eye. "Would you like to hear a secret?"
"What?" Lucifer looked at Odette in anticipation.
"I love you."
