Not all bad

Sooo... I met Cersai's parents and sister. Kera is definitely a character, and his parents are surprisingly kind. They have intense auras, yet much like how I used to describe my father, it's not suffocating, and it's soothing. Almost makes you want to follow them. Cersai or Ceri, or at least that's what I call him. He seemed so stressed about the whole situation. At first, he was nervous about the random woman popping up and then his sister. I guess he didn't want me to see him as a hoe... although that's exactly what he is. But, you know, you got one life to live. So do you and be great at it. But the moment his parents were mentioned, his whole demeanor changed. He was worried and anxious. He looked as if he was gonna spill the beans on himself about being a wolf. Had he, I would've told him I already knew. But he didn't, so I stayed quiet. He really doesn't want me to know that he is. If I had to guess, it's probably up the same alley as Daniel. Daniel hates that people treat him differently simply because he's a soon to be alpha, especially with how he see people treat me. He has a hard time determining who likes him for him and not his title. I don't know if Ceri is an alpha or not, but I'm gonna assume that's where his hesitation lies. If it eases his fear, believing I don't know what he is, then I won't say anything. Ceri and his father stepped aside and had a chat, while his mother and sister stayed by me. Kera introduced us. I stood and shook his mother's hand, and I felt so calm and reguvinated by her. I tilted my head, not understanding why I felt that way. She simply smiled at me. I thought nothing more of it and shrugged the feeling off. She introduced herself as Iris, and her husband's name is Marcus. Kera practically oozed excitement when describing how I handled myself against whoever that woman was, and I just sat there a little embarrassed. I tried to shy away, but Iris was actually really funny and joined in with her daughter. She loved the fact that her son was surrounding himself with good people, well, person. I just had to laugh at them both. I enjoyed our conversation, and they clearly did as well because they invited me out to dinner with them all. Don't ask me how I got here. Just know that I am, and I'm just as confused. Iris insisted Ceri's new friend come have dinner with them before they left. I thought it would only be Cersai, Kera, and their parents, but two other guys came with them as well. I don't know where they from, but its confirmed that all wolves are fine as s**t. I mean, even his daddy is "zaddy" cause, like what? Why do you look like that, sir? Iris is undeniably one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen in my life, and Kera is right up there. They both have jet black hair and piercing blue eyes. Iris's hair is straight, while Kera's is wavy. Iris is 2 inches shorter than Kera, and she has wider hips. All the way around, Iris is plumper than Kera. She, on the other hand, is taller and a bit thinner, but curvy. Kera has a more narrow nose that curves down towards the tip, whereas Iris has a button nose and a cute little beauty mark on the tip of her left nostril. Marcus is a beast, but I could tell he's a gentle giant. He's about 6'6 with a massive build. He also has black hair, but his was cut similarly to Ceri's, except his part wasn't down the middle but on the side, and his hair is very wavy. Both Ceri and Kera get their waves from him, and Kera also got the brown in her eye and her narrow nose as well. All in all, they are a stunning family. His friends are super cute, too. Royce is 6'6, with chocolate skin, that shined with a golden undertone. He had a shortcut, with waves and pierced ears and nose. His eyes were a beautiful hazel. His nose, pointed and a little wide, and his lips full and juicy. He always smiled, showing off his pearly whites. He's lively and doesn't seem to like dull moments. Not gonna lie. That man is a dream boat. He's, like every other wolf, muscular. He wore a sleeveless vest that displayed the tattoos on his arms. I just realized Cersai has some as well. He wore a short sleeve shirt that showed his muscles off well. James is a tad bit more reserved and observant. He's the same height as Royce, muscular but a bit slender. He seems like a runner who's more strategic. He has no tattoos against his bronzed tan skin. He has dark brown hair that's cut on the sides and back, the top part super curly. His nose pointed, full- thinish lips, and a strong jawline. He gave classically handsome. He would look so cute in glasses. All of a sudden, I got nudged, which knocked me back to the present. "What's captivated your attention, Kwen? You see something you like?" I looked over at Kera. She wore a smirk and wiggled her brows. I chuckled at her nonsense. Eveyone stopped their conversations to listen in on Kera's and mine. I looked over at all of them. "To be honest, I was just thinking about how fine you all are. I mean, seriously. It should be criminal for this many good-looking people to be together. Mrs. Iris looks like a freaking model, and Kera's no better. Then all the guys here, including your dad- handsome! Geez! It hurts to look around the table. Also, I thought James would look good with glasses and how Royce has a beautiful smile. If you look hard enough, he even has a cute little dimple. Thankfully, I'm nowhere near insecure, but sitting here, I'll slowly get there." I joked and laughed at my own joke. They all laughed along with me. "Oh please! You're absolutely stunning, Kwen. When I walked up on you guys, I never thought I'd see Cersai with someone so beautiful." Kera said as she held my hand under the table. She then reached up and grabbed my glasses, handing them to James. "Try them on. I wanna see if she's right." She giggled again as I wiped my eyes. "Wow, Kwen. You have such gorgeous eyes. I've never seen a green so pure." Iris said. I smiled and nodded. "Thank you. I get them from my mom." "Wooow!! She was right! You look good with them on. Doesn't he, Kwen?" Kera asked. I chuckled. "He has my glasses. Hold on." I stood and walked around to the other side of the table and stood in front of James. I bent down, standing face to face with him. It got real silent around the table. James's breath hitched in his throat, and he seemed to have stiffen. I looked into his eyes and smiled. "Handsome." That's when I felt the air change, and I smelled Ceri's aura flare-up. I looked behind James, and Royce had the biggest smile on his face. "Wha- what's so funny, Roy?" Kera asked, clearing her throat half way threw the sentence. "Nothing. I'm just wishing a pretty good like Kwen would get that close to me." Roy said, chuckling deeply. I felt a little flustered and blushed. Ceri's aura flared again. I took a look at him, and he looked absolutely calm. His mother and father started chuckling lightly. "Here's your glasses back." James said as he put them back on my face. "Thanks!" I lifted up and went back to my seat. Ceri's aura finally calmed down, but now he seemed grumpy. I was gonna ask him about it but his mother asked me a question. "So. You say you've gotten your eyes from your mother? She must be quite gorgeous for you to be so beautiful. Do you live with her off campus? Where's home for you?" I smiled seldomly. "My mama passed away when I was 12. She was very beautiful, though. We lived here in the city. When she passed, I moved to live with my father for a little while. I didn't even know he existed. My mom kept me a secret from him and him from me. She had her "very" good reasons for that." I don't know why, but I couldn't keep the words in. I felt safe, I guess. "Do you like staying with your dad now?" James asked. I gave a side ways smile. "When I first arrived, he really tried hard. He even told me he never stopped loving my mother, but something he couldn't move past popped up, and he started a new life. He found out about me when my mom died. He seemed genuinely interested in me, and, for a moment, I felt loved. But over time, I don't know, maybe I reminded him too much of my mother, and he doesn't know how to handle that. His wife and daughter make it very difficult to even want to stay in contact with him." It was quiet as I spoke. I smiled brightly, thinking of the family I do have. "The best part about all of this is my grandparents and brother. My mother's family all passed when she was a child, and she had no siblings. So they were my first and only grandparents. They love me to bits, and so does my brother. I love him with everything I have. I made some amazing friends there as well. So it's not all bad." I said. I looked up and noticed the semi sad expressions on everyone's face. I, again, felt embarrassed. "Sorry about the word vomit. I didn't mean to bring down the mood like that." I said as I lowered my head. "Nonsense, sweetheart. I asked a question, and you answered. No need to feel any type of way because of it." Iris said with a smile. "Besides, I think it's worth mentioning that your mother would be proud of the woman you're shaping up to be. You seem truly lovely, darling." Marcus spoke. He, too, wore a gentle smile, probably from years of having a daughter himself. I smiled brightly at him. "Thank you! I would hope so. One of the main reasons I'm even going to school here is because of my mom. We researched schools together, and we both thought this one would be best for me. It was also close to her. I didn't want to go far, especially if she needed me." "Needed you? For what reason?" Kera asked. "Well, she had cancer. She had it for years before she finally couldn't hide away from me anymore. I was 9 when she told me. But she had been dealing with it since I was 5 or 6. My auntie was always around and helped out, so I guess I just didn't notice." Roy looked guilt stricken for asking. I gave him a chuckle. "It's ok, Roy. Believe it or not. I love talking about my mom. My auntie... well, she's actually my mom's best friend. She also has a daughter who's like a sister to me... we all grew up together, like a big communal home. I had the best times with them. I split my time living with my aunt during the school year and staying with my father during the summer. It's rough staying with my dad, but I love coming home. I, in some way, always feel my mom more clearly here... almost like she's just outta reach." Eveyone nodded at me. I then looked over at Ceri and smiled, placing my hand on top of his. I felt him stiffen under me as he snapped his neck towards me. "Besides, if I didn't come here, I would've never met Ceri or his amazing family. So, not all bad." He had a bewildered look on his face. I chuckled at his expression. His parents smiled at each other with a certain look in their eyes, which confused me a little. We all moved passed my life's story and continued on in conversation. We ate and enjoyed ourselves, then departed ways when the night was over. But not before I was extended another invite for the near future.
