Spar?

They all stared at me like what I said was news to them. "How can you smell our scent? Aren't you human?" Eli asked. "More importantly, how can you see our auras... or scent them? How is that even possible?" Logan asked, with skepticism in his voice. "Can you really sense all that, Kwen." My brother asked me gently. I nodded my head. "Yeah, I can. Can't you all? Can't everyone? Isn't this a wolf thing?" "Not really. I mean, we can all smell each other scents, but auras are a different thing. In fact, I've never heard of anything like that before. On top of that, he's never smelled like flowers to me or any of us." Danny said, which had me with the owl look now. So what I smell and sense isn't something that everyone can do. Maybe that's why I was the only one to smell those horrible scents on Sierra and the Luna. I furrowed my brows, confused as to why that was. I don't have a wolf. Everyone has stated that. Maybe these are just the attributes dad mentioned earlier. "Well, I don't know what he smells like to you guys, but lillies and roses are definitely coming from him. I think it could represent his true nature. I've never met you before, but I can tell you're reserved and very kind. I liked that." They all looked at me curiously. "What do you scent from me?" Danny asked me, with a slight smirk on his face. "You smell like the freshest honey and coconut, and your aura is very calming to me. It feels a lot like our dads. Big and protective but not smothering. You feel very relaxing and safe to me." A huge grin broke out on his face. "Ooo, do me next!!" Shouted Steph. I giggled and nodded my head. "You smell like the morning dew grass, and your aura is bright and subtle, like the early morning sunrise. You bring a sense of joy to things, but I know you probably take things more seriously than you let on. It feels as though you might have some deeper power underneath. What it is, I don't know?" I looked at him, my head tilted. He felt as if his body was hiding something from itself, or maybe he hadn't grown into himself just yet. I don't know, but he's gonna be a strong guy once he's older. Truth be told, they all will be, especially my brother. I focused back and noticed everyone just staring at me. I giggled again. "What is it this time?" "I've always sensed his underlying strength as well. I thought he was just a natural at things, but maybe it's more than that." Elias spoke up. I nodded. "Cool, so I'm not crazy. It makes sense that you realized it as well, Eli. You have a woody scent, but your aura is sturdy and gentle. I think you'd make an amazing teacher one day. You seemed really observant when you introduced yourself earlier. I'd love to spar with you one day. You seem like a real challenge." I was glad that they agreed with me. I didn't want them to think I was making things up. That's when steph ran up to me, grabbed me by my shoulders, and shook me gently. "Did you just say spar?? Can you fight? What fighting styles?" He was practically jumping up and down. I laughed. "Yes, I said spar. I know quite a few styles. I'm actually a black belt in Karate, Jujutsu, and Kung fu. I recently started boxing and Muy Thai about two years ago. I couldn't really get far in those since I was taking care of my mom more during that time. I wanted to learn MMA but never got around to it." They all stared wide eye. "Can you get any cooler?!! How did you learn to do many styles so fast?" Eli asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. It's kind of like my schooling. I learned and retained things quickly. I think my physical prowness is definitely attributed to me being half wolf, which is something I know now. I think my mom was trying to help me in her way. I've always had a ton of energy, especially growing up, and needed to move constantly. So she put me in a ton of activities. Which was fine because I was so smart. I also took up dance. It accidently helped with my martial arts classes cause it kept me flexible." I was met with a bunch of whispered wows. "How did all that not affect your education? Wasn't that a lot?" Logan asked with genuine curiosity and concern. I smiled. I knew I was right about him. "No. I moved through school quickly. I finished the 8th grade when I was 9, and I just graduated high school. I'm actually supposed to be starting college at the end of summer." Mouths dropped. "No way!! How is that even possible??" My brother asked. I shrugged, starting to feel a little embarrassed and odd. I've never really thought about all of this. My mom was always just proud of me. I never realized how strange it is for me to be able to do all these things at such a quick pace. My brother brushed against me and smiled. "You're amazing. It's incredible that you've done so much in such little time." I smiled back. "Great. Once our parents find out, we're screwed. They gonna have us studying till we throw up and training till our limbs fall off." Steph said dramatically, and we all laughed at him. "Do you want to spar right now?" Elias asked me. I jumped and clapped my hands together. "Yes!! I'd love to." "Wait, is that safe?" I looked at Logan and nodded. "I trust him. You all know I don't have a wolf, so I'm sure he'll be careful. Plus, I think he's the only one who would give me a challenge right now. The rest of you would be overly cautious." I beamed at Elias, excited for a real opponent. At all my classes and championships, I've always held back to not hurt someone. I even got moved to the teens' classes and championships because I was too much for those my age. But even then, I had to hold back. I can feel they all are worried, but Elias would treat me like a true fighter out of all of them. I could feel it. He nodded at me and beamed just as brightly as I did. I think he appreciated my faith in him. "Alright, let's go!! Show me where yall practice." I turned to the group, waiting for them to lead the way.
