Best Friends

Emily It was her first day senior year and Emily was excited she couldn't wait to celebrate with her best friend Jason. She quickly got up from bed and did her morning routine as she ran down stairs, grabbing an apple as she went to the coffee shop to wait for Jason since it was their tradition they do every year before school, she got in her old blue her jeep that she loves and made her way to Joe's. She walk up to the counter as she was a regular they greeted her and gave her her pumpkin spice with extra whip cream, Emily was a Burnett with a cream tan skin sharp nose round green eyes small plump pink lips, she was a C cup with curves and a height of 5'9" her body was ton from cheerleading and track as well as cross country. She checked her watch to see it was 7:30 am she took her phone out to call Jason it started to ring, when the line picked up after five rings. "Jason Eugene Walker, where are you?" She said She listened as there was silence but she could her breathing. "Jason? You there?" She said There was still silence. "Jason?" She said There was a few shuffling. "Hey? Jay you there?" She said Finally she heard someone cough. "You sick Jay Bear? Is that why you can't talk?" She said When there was nothing again, she thought he probably can't speak. "Okay you know what I'll just text you okay" she said When there was silence again she hung up and open her message app. (Please tell me you didn't lose your voice?) (Yes...) (Okay I'll come by after school) (You can't I'm not home) (Why?) (Mom and dad transferred me to Engand boarding school) (And you didn't tell me!) (I wanted too but everything happened so fast) (Well this year will suck without you, I miss you already) (Miss you too...) (You know what it's okay we can text, call and Skype) (If I'm not that busy the school here is crazy) (I bet I'll keep you updated Kay love you Jay Bear) (Me too...) Emily look at his response and thought it was weird usually her would always say [to the moon and back Mia] using her middle name so she just left it at that and went on to school missing her childhood friend. One Month has passed like promise she would text Jason every morning and they would Skype on weekends only at time he would talk to her, she'd sent him pictures of cheerleading and of there hang out spot they would go too soon people found out that Jason transferred schools making the guys go after her now that Jason wasn't there but Emily was rather more consintrate on school then boyfriends she wanted to get into the same school as him. She open her laptop and loom at the time since it was 9 at night it'll be Saturday morning for him so she called him on Skype, after a few rings he picked up. "Hey Jay Bear" Emily said "Hey Emily" Jason replied "So I applied to New York like we promised haven't heard back yet. So how about will you be studying over there or you coming back?" She asked "Not too sure yet" he says "I see, how's classes there?" She asked, pushing her glasses up. "Nothing much just have a lot of homework mostly in math" he say Which was odd he loves math. "Is the math different from here then it is there?" She asked "Way different had to get a tutor" he says "Wow Jason Walker asking for help and I thought you be having difficulty in English then math" Emily said smiling "Yeah it's pretty much easier this time" he says "Well I should let you get back to studying I'll text you?" She asked "Yeah sounds good" he says "Love and miss you Jay" she says "To the moon and back Mia" he says She felt relieved when he said that as she smiling and waved goodbye to him. When they ended the call she played down on her bed and laughed at herself for thinking he changed but he was the same old Jason that she grew up with. By graduation day she was accepted to New York school and would be graduating at the top of her class she sent pictures to Jason in her cap and gown the past few months he has hardly text or call her he would just reply that he is busy. She doesn't know if she will be able to see him the is fall when they promise to applied at the same college she just hope he remembered their promise to each other.
