Epilogue -Nate- I stood in my room, remembering her presence in there. Whenever she was here, talking to me I could feel alive. But now that she was gone I couldn’t even focus on anything. I don’t know if I had done wrong sending her back but that was what she wanted. She had been crying to go back. Then who wouldn’t? Everybody wanted to remain at their homes. Being homesick was a feeling that killed a person slowly. I stared at the sun out of my window. It was peaceful, shinning in the sky like an orange ball of heat and warmth. How was I supposed to get out in the sun when it could burn me down to ashes? Victor had a locket made for this purpose. The witches had enchanted it with magic to stay in sun without burning.
