I plucked a rose from the garden and the thorn hurt my finger, drawing blood out of it. I smiled. It was a sad smile.
Karen was going back to where she came from. I couldn’t stop her. My stupid brother had been emotional when he took the decision. The decisions taken from the heart were always wrong. To me, the decisions taken from the heart were useless.
I walked towards my mother’s room. I had to talk to her. I had to stop Karen somehow if possible.
“Everybody wants you alive, Karen.” Mother was saying.
