Nikita’s POV
The first thing that I thought of when I got Nate’s mothers text was to run and find Nate. And that’s exactly what I decided to do.
I got up in the middle of class. “I need to leave. It’s an emergency.” I said, interrupting the lesson and lifting up my bag.
“Do you have a note?” My teacher asked. He sounded worried, but annoyed with the fact that I was interrupting the lesson.
I opened my mouth to answer but realized that this was going to take too long, so instead, I ran out of the classroom.
The teacher called after me, but I ignored him.
I have to say, this was one of the most rebellious things I have ever done in my life.
I was probably going to get into a lot of trouble for this… but oh well, maybe if they found out why I was doing this they would let me off.
