"Why's that? Do you want me to pretend to be your boyfriend every day?" he teased me, smirking arrogantly as I looked up at him. "No. That's not what I meant. I just meant — I mean, I just want…" I struggled for a second before finally forming a coherent sentence. "I would like for you to keep being nice with me, to keep being this fun guy I can play around with and enjoy hanging out with." "I'll see what I can do," he said, winking at me as he closed the distance between us. "But first," he leaned down and kissed me once more. His lips were hot and plump against mine, turning me into a puddle. "Come with me. I want to show you something." He smiled so innocently at me as he stretched his hand out for me to take. I took it without a doubt in my mind, following him down a beaten path.
