I looked at her worried at what was going on with her. She screamed, hit me and is now backed into a corner in a ball. “She’s going to shift” Lucious said excitedly wagging his tail. I crawled over to her slowly being careful not to startle her. “Beautiful, I need to get you outside.” I said softly.
“NO! It’s dangerous. You’re going to KILL me!” She screamed at me crying.
“Beautiful, you are starting to shift and I do believe that is my fault and I am so sorry.” I tried to explain. She stared at me tears running down her face.
“I can’t, not yet” She sniffled.
“You are and I need to take you outside or you will destroy your house in the process.” I held my hand out waiting for her to take it. Reluctantly she did, I scooped her up and carried her outside. I sat down with her and ran my hands through her hair. “Don’t fight it. Once you shift the first time it will be easier after that.” I spoke reassuringly.
She nodded and relaxed in my arms; I could hear the sound of her bones snapping as her body took on her new form.
She was even more stunning now with the moon light shining down on her snow-white fur. Her ears were oddly large and her fur was a bit shorter than a normal Lycan but she was no doubt a wolf. I starred in amazement before Lucious rudely interrupted. “Run.” My throat went dry when he said that. “Why run?”
“Take her on a run. Let me out dummy.”
I let go of the breath I didn’t know I was holding, standing up I smiled. “Would you like to go for a run with me, through the forest?” I ran my hands through her coat as she huffed at me. I smirked and shifted quickly. Lucious nudged her hind legs and nipped at her heels playfully before taking off to the east.
We ran until we reached the waterfall. Past the waterfall was the most dangerous area of the forest. “See told you she would enjoy going for a run and stretching her legs” Lucious gloated.
“I never said she wouldn’t, you asshole, I only said it's her first shift take it easy.”
“Uh guys, I can hear you. Quit arguing.” a sultry female voice spoke up as our beauty growled deeply.
“Oh s**t!” Lucious jumped.
She walked over to us and put her paw on our head.
“I told you my name, your turn” Lucious demanded
“My name is Vixen; she will tell your human half what you would like to know as soon as we get back to the cabin. I can smell death, we should go.” Her voice was like silk running across polished marble.
I nodded before taking off in the direction of the cabin.
