1054 Words
Finally, after thinking for a long time, considering Hannah's good as well, Thomas agreed to Hannah's request to hide their marriage from others. Even though Thomas really objected, he would accept this request for Hannah's sake. “Okay, I'll do as you wish," said Thomas finally opening his voice after nearly fifteen minutes of silence to think. When she heard Thomas' reply, Hannah smiled in relief, "I'm sorry for asking this of you and also thank you for agreeing to it," Hannah replied, really relieved that Thomas would agree to her request. At this rate, Hannah could go to work tomorrow with a peace of mind. Hannah also hopes that her co-workers don't want to know about her business taking time off and don't find out what she's doing. "Is there something you want to talk to me about again?" asked Thomas again. Hannah shook her head slowly and smirked at Thomas, “Nothing more, I just wanted to say about my thought to you,” Hannah replied as she waved her hand. Without another word, Thomas got up from his seat and walked away from the dining table. Hannah just watched the man leave, then happily took her dirty dishes to clean, no longer thinking about her troubles with Thomas. . . . The next day, Hannah was up in the morning, today she had to go back to work. It is certain that Hannah's tasks will pile up when she enters later. When going to leave, Hannah didn't check where Thomas was, she immediately looked for her car in the garage which had just been delivered to her new home yesterday. Hannah quickly drove her car away from the area of her house. Before leaving earlier, Hannah had been contacted by Alex to quickly come to their headquarters. Alex said that there was a new case they had to investigate immediately. Unfortunately for Hannah, she had to work late when she just got back to work. Hannah's office was located in the downtown district, the streets were still pretty quiet this morning and she was able to get there quickly. Arriving at the office, Hannah rushed to meet her captain first, reporting that he was back and ready to serve. On his way he met some of his co-workers who were already busy on a quiet morning outside. When Hannah was about to enter her captain's room, she saw Alex and decided to greet the man first, "Hey," Hannah said briefly to the man. "Hannah! It's good to see you again," replied Alex very enthusiastically when he saw Hannah's presence there, because they had not seen Hannah in the office for three days. "Is the captain inside?" Hannah asked, glancing over at her squad captain's room. “The captain left in a hurry, it looks like something happened. Now it looks like we have to wait for the captain to return,” explained Alex regarding the conditions at headquarters. Then why did you tell Hannah to get to the office quickly, when in the end they had to wait again. Hannah rolled her eyes lazily and went to her messy desk. “Was this my duty while I was gone lately?” Hannah asked, pointing to the pile of files that lined her desk. Hansel with a coffee cup in his hand answered from the front door, “Yes, you have a lot to do, Hannah. Considering we've all been busy lately, and you seem to be quite relaxed, so you do it,” said Hansel – one of Hannah's teammates – casually. Hannah had expected it to be like this, so she just took a deep breath and started to sit down at her desk to see which one she could finish first. . . . Thomas, who just woke up, was confused when he didn't find Hannah at their house. "Where did the girl go?" Thomas muttered in confusion as he wandered around the house looking for Hannah. Finally, Thomas went to the backyard of his house and a few moments later someone came down from the tree and directly faced Thomas. "Where's the girl?" Thomas asked directly to the mysterious figure. “Miss Hannah went to work early this morning, sir. I've confirmed it myself, Miss Hannah really did go to work," said the black hooded man while looking down at Thomas. Yes, the mysterious black hooded man is a subordinate Hector has ordered to guard and snoop in Thomas's new house. Because of his undercover job as a mafia and also Hannah who is a Detective, Thomas is on guard ordering his men to keep watch around his house. Afraid, the enemy of one of them there are those who mean evil to Hannah or Thomas. Thomas sighed when he realized that today Hannah had started working again, it seemed that she too had to go back to her company and get back to managing her mafia clan. "Okay, go back to your place," said Thomas, waving his hand telling his men to leave. ThomasThomas went back into his house and began to prepare to return to his company and secretly began to monitor what Hannah was doing. . . . Hannah was surprised when she saw the other co-workers getting noisy, she who was working on various written reports lifted her head and saw the others pacing busyly. Hannah got up and asked them, "What's this?" asked Hannah, both curious and confused. "The captain's been shot," one of his coworkers replied curtly to Hannah. Of course Hannah was taken aback by those words, how could her captain be shot just like that. "Hannah come with me to visit the shooting site," said Hansel calling Hannah to accompany him. "Ready!" Hannah immediately took her equipment on her desk and rushed after Hansel, who was already there walking first. On their way, the curious Hannah tried to ask Hansel, “How did the Captain get hurt? Is there someone you suspect?” "I don't know, I hope it's not the work of the Mafia that lacks work!" said Hansel, gritting his teeth in annoyance when he mentioned the mafia. Hannah's heart immediately stopped beating when she heard Hansel's words. "There's no way Thomas was involved in this problem?!" Hannah's mind started to get restless and started thinking about Thomas.
