The man ran through the vast building,adrenaline coursed through him as he desperately tried to find the exit. The clock ticked loudly as it hit midnight. The man hastened his steps as he heard a door creak open loudly not far from him.The other's steps grew louder as they got closer.The man became frightened and kneeled down,hiding in a blind spot. The steps became quiet. The man thought the other had left as he peeked to check the surroundings. Suddenly, a hand clasped over his mouth before he could even make a run for it. The man's eyes widened as he froze in fear,unable to even fight back. Mingzhe whispered in the man's ear,his hair tickling the other's neck, “You cannot run from the punishment of your sins.” The man was dragged back to the basement,screaming while his body are wrecked with sobs.How pitiful it is for him,that no matter how hard he screams and cries,no living person besides Mingzhe will be able to hear it. The man was strapped to the chair in the basement. Mingzhe checked out the time on his watch as he asked nonchalantly, “Any last words?” “Please,just let me go!I'll make amends for my wrongdoings,I'll never repeat it again" Mingzhe clicked his tounge as he shot the man through his skull,not even casting a second glance as blood splattered the wall.He muttered as he turned to leave the scene, “God may forgive you,but Rian never will and he is my God.” The sun has set,and Mingzhe has returned.A dark-haired man with a pair of dark-coloured eyes that were so empty,it'd swallow you whole sat on the sofa.His legs crossed and his hands held a book,but even an i***t could tell his attention isn't on the book.Mingzhe fell to his knees in front of the man, “It's done” The man smiled,although it seemed as cold as ice.His hands reaching out to caress Mingzhe's hair that sat atop his nape, “You've done well.Was it messy?I'll arrange for Andrew to clean it up.” Mingzhe's hum rumbled through his throat,as he nodded.In front of this man,he's nothing but a prey.A prey that willingly submits to the predator and even sacrifices others for him.It is futile to try and escape the abyss,but Mingzhe is willing to be swallowed by the abyss.
