CHAPTER 23 – Cassie’s Public Image Grows
Cassie woke up to the sound of her phone vibrating violently on the bedside table.
“Ugh…” she groaned, squinting at the bright screen. Dozens of notifications from i********:, t****k, and Twitter were popping up by the second.
She sat up, still in Luke’s guest bedroom, the sun barely rising through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows. Cassie rubbed her eyes and tapped the first notification.

The attached photo showed her in that emerald green dress, her arm barely brushing against Luke’s as they exited the gala. Cassie’s mouth dropped open.
