Chapter one
Holly's POV
My heart keeps yearning for her. My body keeps wanting her touch even when I know it's a violation of the sacred law of the werewolf kingdom which puts my life and hers at risk.
I am the only daughter of my father, Alpha Luke, the ruthless alpha of Broodwick pack.
Broodwick pack is one of the largest packs located in the Eastern region of North America. Having conquered several packs, my dad, Alpha Luke, expanded our borders to cover the territories he defeated, making our pack larger, wealthier and denser with more people.
Alpha Luke is the most feared Alpha in North America. He doesn't take no for an answer and any pack who refuses to be allies with him automatically becomes his enemy and his ego forces him to make them his by force.
I'm more than glad to have a father like him. While everyone fears him, I don't. I'm his little angel, as he fondly calls me. But others call me his spoilt brat and I don't give a f**k about them.
“I hate you Luke! I hate you!” I heard my mom scream behind closed doors.
“And you think I like you a bit?” My dad shot back at her. “You impertinent woman! I would do anything to get you out of my life as soon as possible!”
My mom laughed sarcastically, “Look at you, shameless man! This is what you say to the woman who gave you two kids. You should know by now that I won't leave this house. I built all of these with my sweat and blood.”
“You did what?”
“Yes Luke! Yes! Deny it all you want. Everyone knows you would have amount to nothing without me. You became Alpha because of me. Where was Camille when you were just an ordinary warrior? The mistresses you have scattered around home and abroad where were they when my father almost banished you. I made you who you are today, Luke. I suffered to build this pack with you. I'm going nowhere!”
I shook my head and sighed, wearing my headphone and blocking my ears with the k-pop music playing. I was tired of the constant fight between my parents.
I grabbed my backpack and hurriedly stuffed some cloth inside. I dressed up in a mini jean skirt and crop top before grabbing my backpack from the bed and leaving the room.
“I need to go out.” I mindlinked my driver and by the time I got to the front porch, a white SUV was before me with my driver inside.
Greg, my bodyguard opened the rear door for me and I climbed in.
“Aunt Maggie’s place.” I told the driver and he started the engine. “Get down, Greg. I don't need a body guard.”
He looked over his shoulder at me. “Holly—”
“Would you prefer I tell my dad that you touched me?” The both men in my front froze for a second before Greg quietly stepped out of the car's front passenger seat.
The car drove off with Greg watching us. I wasn't apologetic for saying what I said to him. He had never touched me in any way. I only said that to threaten him and get what I want.
Everyone knows my dad believes everything I say. If I tell my dad that he touched me unruly he would be punished severely without my dad confirming if I was lying or not. Greg knows, that was why he left the car quietly.
I am my daddy's girl and I am used to getting what I want. I needed to go to my aunt's house alone. I didn’t need any guard giving my dad details about what I'm doing there.
The car stopped in front of my father's younger sister's house. I took off my headphone and stepped out of the car
“Don't wait for me. Aunt Maggie will bring me back home.” I told the driver.
He drove off while I ran into the embrace of a beautiful blonde woman standing at her duplex front porch. She planted soft kisses all over my face.
“I miss you, kitten.”
“I miss you, Maggie.”
We remained in the embrace, enjoying each other's warmth before disengaging.
“You didn't call me beforehand that you're coming.” She said, pulling me inside her house.
“Yeah,” I said in a low tone.
She halted and turned to me, giving me a knowing look.
“Wait. Don't tell me you're parents are fighting again.”
I raised my shoulders. “It is what it is, Maggie.”
“Oh goddess, those two. When will they grow up. They never change.”
“I plan on staying the weekend with you. I can't stay in that house with those two always picking at themselves.”
“I'm glad you're staying. We will have a lot of time to ourselves.” She said and I smiled at her. I knew I could always count on her.
She pecked my lips before pulling my backpack from my back. “Have a sit while I go make something for you to eat.”
“Mmhmm.” I crashed on the couch and grabbed the TV remote changing the channel to my favorite.
Maggie returned moments later with a plate in her hand. She handed it to me.
“Porridge?” I looked at the plate with disgust and then at her face.
“Sorry, kitten. This is all I have in the house, right now.”
“You can keep it. I'm not hungry.” I said, ignoring the aching in my stomach for food. I hate porridge and wouldn't eat it even if I was dying.
“You're sure?”
“Mmhmm.” I chuckled, “I almost forgot you don't know how to cook and don't bother to stock your house with foodstuffs.”
“I already ordered some food from a closeby eatery. It will arrive soon.”
“Don't you have snacks?”
“I've exhausted them. But don't worry, someone is bringing groceries for me today. He knows better than not to include snacks in the shopping he's doing for me.”
“Who's he?” I asked curiously. My aunt never talked about guys excitedly.
“Don't worry. You'll see when he's here.”
I rolled my eyes. “Fine.”
She dropped the plate back in the kitchen and returned to the couch where I sat.
I felt her gaze on me and faced her. We froze in each others gaze and my body heated.
She drew closer, cupping my face in her hands.
“I missed you so much, kitten.”
I lost control and smashed my lips on hers. She gave in, allowing my tongue into her mouth as our hands worked their way around our bodies.
My core tightened. My arousal and hers filling the air.
My wolf hid behind detesting my s****l relationship with my aunt but I didn't care. This has been my life since I turned twelve.
Myra, my wolf, has to accept that I'm more attracted to females than any he-wolf, including my mate.
Though, we've argued countless times about how things would change once I meet my fated mate. But I don't agree.
I don't think I can live without my aunt. I love her. Not the usual way a niece would love her aunt. I love my aunt…as my girlfriend.
