I feel sorry for Nathan, I really do. He wants to talk to his father, but he doesn't dare. He doesn't want to get another look of disappointment. He doesn’t want to make his father even more disappointed in him. I know how much he craves his father's approval and pride, and usually, he gets it, but when he becomes disappointed, it breaks Nathan down.
I told my mom and Dirk today and they totally freaked out. After some yelling and some panicking, they calmed down and said that it's not the end of the world and that they will do all they can to help me and Nathan. It's not the end of the world, but it sure won’t be easy.
