Skylar POV It hadn’t even been a week since the kingdom was informed of the rogue’s trespassing, before the boundaries were breached again. This time, however, the rogues had been more brazen, they had attempted to attack the warriors that were on duty. No one on the kingdom’s side had been harmed, but despite their best efforts to take one of the intruders alive, there were no survivors. “Was it too much to ask to leave one alive?” Skoll had been fiercely ripping into the guard patrol for the past fifteen minutes. “We had one alive, but he slit his own throat before we could take him into custody, sir.” The head guard defended their actions.
