Mia could tell that Sage had almost immediately drawn back from her after their moment in the back office. Once they had left the office, Sage went to the bar for another drink and proceeded to act as though nothing had happened. She did not regret it happening though as she had been waiting for it for so long but she had to put that aside because she had no idea where Sage and herself would be staying in Florida. They could not live out of a hotel during their stay as who knew how long they’d be in Florida for.
