Miarra's P.O.V. "My baby is looking so much pretty" mamma said pecking my forhead. Her baby blue eyes gazed at me with so much love. " Mamma am I looking like a princess?" " yes baby " " than when will I meet my prince?" " no baby girl no Prince are gonna take you from me" papa said getting in the room and picked me in his arms " but papa I want to meet my prince " I pouted. Papa chuckled. " what if that prince took you away from us. Do you want to be without your mamma and me? " I started thinking. Do I really have to leave my mamma and papa. But in the fairy tails the prince and princess lives happily with their family, right? " come on Ray don't break my little girl's heart. Baby you will get your Prince and your happily ever after " mamma said smiling at me. " are you guys coming or i'll eat the cake alone." Raphael said from the doorstep. He is the most annoying brother but also the best brother in this whole world.He turned 17 a few months ago. Papa placed me in the ground. Raphael grabbed my hand and together we come to the living room.A big decorated chocolate cake is placed on the table. Today is my 7th birthday so mamma prepared this cake for me. Her cakes are most delicious. I jumped up and down in excitement and run towards the cake. chocolate cakes are my favourite i can't wait to eat this. " calm down lil' monkey the cake isn’t going anywhere." Raphael said and everyone laughed. Mamma handed me a knife and light up the candles. I closed my eyes making a wish.Just when I opened my eyes and about to blow the candles a loud bang was heard from the front door. Several men disguised in black mask entered the room.I was afraid just by looking at them. They had guns at their hand.Mamma took me in her arms and before anyone can say or do anything she ran to the basement. I never came here. Papa forbidden me to come here. After entering the basement darkness consumed us but still mamma kept going. She stopped at somewhat looks like a door. She opened it and get inside. " listen to me carefully baby don't come out from here no matter what.You have to stay here until papa or me or your brother comes to get you. Do you understand baby" " Mamma what is happening. I'm scared. " I said sobbing. A tear roll down her cheeks. " Don't be scared baby. You are our strong brave girl, right. just stay here and always remember we love you so much Miarra, my baby." Mamma took out the chain with a pendant which she always wears from her neck and tied it in mine. " keep this with you It will always remind you of us" another loud bang echoed throughout upstairs. Mamma got up looking at me with painful eyes and mouthed I love you. Then she stromed out of the room locking the door. I sat there crying silently. Big sobs was threatening to come out but I didn’t let them. I can't make a sound afraid someone might hear me.loud sounds and screams was coming from upstairs. I clutched the pendant tightly and prayed in mind to let everything be alright. Suddenly I heard footstep coming to the door. I curled myself in a ball and sank down beside the wall hoping the person won't see me in darkness. The door open quietly. " cupcake?" It's my brother. Raphael noticed me in the corner and crouched down. I can't see his face clearly because of darkness. He pulled me in a big bear hug. Finally a sob escaped my mouth. I cried in his warm embrace. after few moments Raphael broke the embrace and cupped my cheeks. " cupcake don’t cry ok? you have to get out of here I'll come behind you. run to uncle john's house. He knows what to do.just run away from here. Fulfil all your dream even I can't follow you even Mom and Dad won't be with you you have to keep going for us never loose hope in life. just live on your dreams. I love you forever." " where is mamma and papa" " they went to meet grandma and grandpa. they will watch you from there cupcake." He wiped my tears with his thumb than took my hands. We went outside and walked until we came to a big black door. He unlocked the door raveling the backside garden of our house. we was about to go out when four bulky men came there and aimed their gun at us. Raphael shielded me with his body. Four bullets pierced his body. He fall on the ground with a loud thud. Before the men could come to get me he took out a gun from his backside and shoot them. I froze in my place. I can't comprehend anything in my mind. More footsteps was heard coming here. Raphael looked at me pleadingly. His voice come out barely in a whisper " run away cupcake" and i did i ran outside before anyone could get me. I promised myself that i will do what Raphael told me. I will fulfil my dreams for Mamma for papa for Raphael. I ran and ran. there is a place that connects the garden with the main road. Soon I was running in the main road. Suddenly a explosion rang throughout the silence of the night. I look behind just to see my entire house burning in flames. My childhood, my memories along with my parents, my brother was burning in that cruel flames.
