After 6 years she was leading the pack herself, Shadow was getting older and forfeited the position of Alpha willingly. It was her duty to protect the pack. On rare occasion they would need to hide from humans coming in to the forest, mostly there to hunt. As soon as Fee could hear or smell them she would move the pack constantly to keep them safe and hidden.
Fee was 17 when a group of humans entered the forest. This time she couldn't smell or hear them in time and something was different, something was incredibly dangerous. There were now 5 young cubs in the pack, the most they had ever had. There was a total of 11 adult wolves, her included. There was no time to move the pack, it would be too risky. Before she could get her pack into the cave, 6 giant wolves broke the tree line towards the den.
They were nearly as big as her, but they didn't smell like rogues. Fear and panic flooded her body, protect the pack she shouted in her mind. Blood could be seen in and on their muzzle's, it was the humans blood. She could smell it from where she stood. The wolves continued forward, a loud warning growl ripped from her throat. She charged towards them picking up a young cub 10 meters in front of them before backing towards the den and pack.
Shadow moved behind her, rubbing her side in support while bearing his teeth at the oncoming wolves. Fee snarled dropping the cub at shadows feet. He meant to stay with Fee and rouse the pack to fight. Fee knew they would all die, they were her family. If anything they had saved her and been her life line for 7 years, now she would return the favour or die trying. Fee turned snarling at Shadow and now Coffee who started to walk back out the den. They both retreat Shadow picking up the pup at his paws.
"Are you watching this s**t?" Pack Delta Patrick relayed to his Alpha's sister Bec and the 4 other warriors with him. Linking to his Beta, "Beta come now this is some f****d up s**t, bring Cerebit with you. We might need it. I can't even try to explain this one." He said before rattling off their approximate location.
Adam felt panic? uneasiness? through the link to Patrick. Worry setting in as Alpha Tristen was still away till tomorrow. Grabbing a Cerebit (injection which forced a wolf to shift, normally used on rogues who refused to shift or were an escape risk) heading out the Alpha's office. Bec, Alpha Tristen's sister cried out in pain. Adam kept sprinting forward muttering to himself, "I'm so f****d, Tristen's going to kill me, Bec's not supposed to be on patrol. FUCK."
Fee had downed a female wolf who dared get closer to the den. She was nowhere near hurt, maybe a broken leg, probably just a sprain. Would heal in a few hours max Fee thought. Another two wolves lunged towards her, Autumn and her were strong. She had never shifted back to human form, for seven years she had remained a wolf. These wolves were all slow and sloppy. She easily took down three of the wolves, not killing just breaking a few limbs to warn them off. It didn't appear to be working as they stood their ground, refusing to retreat.
She would have to move the pack after this, they would never return to this area. It was not safe, she thought as she backed up once more protecting the entrance to the den. Approaching the location Adam sucked in a deep breath pushing himself faster as his wolf stared clawing to get out of his mind and phase. He resisted knowing Cerebit needed to be injected.
Reaching the clearing Adam looked down at the scene. "Back off ", he snarled at Patrick the pack Delta and the last standing guard. He spared a glance for his downed warriors and bec, but they would be fine. They had only been slightly maimed, the rogue didn't leave any fatal wounds. "What's in the cave?" he asked Patrick without taking his gaze off the let be honest stunning wolf in front of him. The wolf was silver, the way it's fur shone reminded him of a full moon. It's piercing blue eyes stared straight into his. Knowing from the size of the wolf that it must be a male Alpha or Beta blood line. Even though the wolf did not give off a dark aura, he still took caution approaching slowly. This wolf would still take him down him like the others if feeling threatened.
"A pack of wolves", Patrick offered through mind link. Adam eyebrows furrowed as he didn't smell any other werewolves. "Like actual wolves", Patrick corrected.
Adam put his complete attention on the rogue, he was strong. Very strong. "I am Adam", he yelled out slowly trying to close the distance between them. Patrick moved forward causing Fee to snap her teeth towards his direction, Adam moved between the two so it was just him and her. Nobody else will interfere. "I..., we won't hurt you."
Autumn was running a muck in Fee's head, she hadn't seen her so chatty. "Mate she screamed, I smell our mate. He must know mate". The male in front of her spoke softly, he made her want to greet and rub up against him. The scent wafting from his body was utterly intoxicating.
"Can you shift for me?" The male in human form which was now only meters in front of her asked her to shift. She was mortified, scared, that snapped her right back to reality, no more fuzzy feeling. Shaking her head trying to shut Autumn up she bared her teeth and snapped at the approaching Adam. Adam stopped in his tracks, but he didn't back up.
