Paulie looked down at the phone and saw Jen was calling. With relief, he answered it. “Jen, are you OK? Have you figured out what to do? Has Zack arrested them yet?”
Jen explained that they were working on it. She said she and Zack were trying to come up with a plan for how to come to the house and talk with him without making the people listening suspicious. She promised to call him back no later than the next day. He gave her a list of things that he needed to pick up from the grocery store.
